AWS has a similar solution for S3 Bucket that will support any document images, videos, etc. They have a platform supporting authentication but a different approach. The AWS and Azure solutions are about 80 percent the same. The difference is the migration process. We can migrate our data or documents with the trickle-based or Big Ben model and access any application via their APA, their authentication model.

We cannot jump in because even Kubernetes is also on the cloud. We can plan the image, optic tree, and master node and then reuse the maximal level, but we cannot recreate that.

We have never actually attempted to evaluate this solution in comparison to others. 

We use the solution as a plain storage tool. Many of the features in the product are now available in Microsoft Fabric.

We did not look into other options. 

We also evaluated Amazon, AWS, Microsoft, and Google cloud.

I have been looking into data warehousing technology for quite some time. I have experience on Teradata and I have experience on Azure. I have used Azure Data Factory and I have used Azure Databricks. I have been happy with the Azure products so this has played into my decisions.  

Multiple vendors offer good block storage solutions, such as BMC Storage, NetApp Storage, Azure, Google and Oracle. Microsoft Azure Block Storage is deployed for mission-critical and business-critical data. When deploying these kinds of data, you must have a data center to control moving the data and allow multiple storages. You can know where the data is stored, which software controls the data, and who manages your data. But for cloud, the customer does not have any visibility or know who is responsible for managing data or whether it's secured. Therefore, transparency, control and storage deployment is significant.

We tried Google Cloud Storage, but we had a terrible experience with the product because, at the time, Google was new in the market.

Most of our solutions are built on Azure, so that is our first choice. However, we also considered AWS Storage Services. We thought about using the AWS S3 bucket, but our in-house team mostly has experience on Azure, we stuck with that. I think the Azure documentation is easier to understand than AWS's, so that's the main advantage. The costs are more or less the same.

We have evaluated Amazon AWS. They provide a good service. However, Microsoft solutions have more user-friendly interfaces.

When comparing G-Cloud and AWS to Azure, the challenge isn't necessarily from other products, but rather the customers seem to have a greater investment in Azure.

We evaluated Amazon as an option but went with Microsoft because it was a cheaper solution. 

I have not evaluated other solutions.

I compared Azure Block Storage with AWS. The cost is the main difference.

We evaluated S3 before choosing this solution. S3 has a wider adoption. Other than that, technically, I do not see much of a difference between both. They have similar functionalities.

I haven't compared the solution to any other solutions just yet. We only deal with Azure.

We started looking at Dell EMC and some other solutions such as QNAP. We are evaluating them.

I also work with AWS, so that was a consideration. 

We compared this solution with AWS S3. It mostly works like object storage.

We evaluated other solutions before purchasing Microsoft Azure Block Storage, such as Cloud Storage from GCP. Based on our experience and our project, the solution is very similar.
