Karen has over 15 years in Customer Support and Administrative fields. She is customer driven with a never give up disposition, boundless zeal for innovation, expertise and a passion for excellence.

As a Program Services Specialist, Karen provides direction and support for VHA’s educational and continuing education programs and conferences. She is responsible for program registration site set-up and management, logistical coordination and webinar platform usage and training. VHA is a national network of not-for-profit health care organizations that work together to drive maximum savings in the supply chain arena, collaborate to achieve new levels of clinical performance, and connect through networks to identify and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and clinical outcomes.

Karen joined VHA in 2012 as a Customer Service Advocate. In this position she developed and maintains positive relationships with members, internal staff and suppliers by providing support, training and issue resolution for the company’s website, contract catalog and analytical platforms. Coordinating the creation and publishing of the MSC Knowledge Base platform and Chatter Group as part of the KBA Focus Group, Karen emphasized her ability to develop and implement effective action plans focused on improvement at individual and team level by supplying the CSA team with up-to-date training, materials and process guidelines to ensure positive member relations and experience. In 2013, Karen was promoted to the Program Services Specialist team. Within her first year, she adopted a new webinar platform service saving VHA approximately $100,000.
