The browser based IDE is also very mature and stable.""Low-code development is the most valuable feature.""The solution has a lot of connectors, which is quite helpful.""Extremely flexible for any kind of integration between systems.""This solution has a user-friendly interface and very good documentation with solutions that helped us in working with the tool efficiently.""It has been a stable product."

"GoldenGate can aggregate various data types from different sources.""GoldenGate's best features are the desktop security features.""Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""This has significantly eased the process of migration from on-premise to cloud. Instead of configuring everything from the ground up, the Oracle GoldenGate Cloud Service has made it seamless to build and render databases in cloud."

More Oracle GoldenGate Cloud Service Pros →

"The most valuable part of SAS/ACCESS is what it is made for: connecting to remote systems that are not part of your physical SAS environment.""The most valuable feature is you have native access to the external databases.""The most valuable aspect of the solution is the ease of access to the data in those databases."

Cons
"Boomi AtomSphere Integration is not yet exposed to the world as a good product owing to certain shortcomings in the area of marketing where improvements are required.""There are still some areas that need improvement. For example, when updates are going on, the product becomes very slow.""We would like to see more involvement between Dell Boomi and the end-users to help improve the customer experience.""There should be more scripting possibilities.""There is no validation in the mapping profile custom scripting, such as IntelliSense or advanced error checking.""They need to introduce more configurable functions to remove scripting or coding. Scripting should be minimized. It should have exhaustive functions. Currently, it lacks in this aspect.""The solution is complex. There's a few items and features that are hard to understand. They should work to simplify the functionality so new users don't struggle.""Documentation could be improved."

More Boomi AtomSphere Integration Cons →

"Oracle is always adding new features. I can't think of anything that's urgent currently.""Oracle GoldenGate Cloud Service lacks AI. If AI gets introduced in Oracle GoldenGate Cloud Service, it would be much easier to do analysis.""The initial setup was a little complex, and we required support from Oracle to complete it.""More technical documentation is needed, especially in terms of mapping and conversion of data, while integration would also be very helpful."

More Oracle GoldenGate Cloud Service Cons →

"The solution can provide access to the newer databases that come out sooner.""I can't really recall any missing feature or general improvement that is needed. We don't really add too many new kinds of databases and therefore our needs are already met.""The pricing model needs to be reconsidered and adjusted."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The Platinum package is good for licensing, but I’m not sure about the cost and improvements."
  • "They do not charge by the number of people using the software (client-server model), but rather they charge based on the number of connections used. This makes it very cost effective."
  • "The licensing model of Dell Boomi is based on a ‘pay-per-use’ model."
  • "This solution is very economical (based on the connections)."
  • "The pricing is a bit complex. While the entry fee may be lower than other solutions, it could be expensive depending on your usage."
  • "When it comes to pricing, it's not so much about being less expensive as it is about how they don't tie to the hardware on the underlined VMware that you run on, as other vendors do"
  • "The cost of the solution is in the neighborhood of $20,000 annually. There are no costs above the standard licensing fee."
  • "Approximately 20k annually."

    Overview

The Boomi AtomSphere integration platform as a service (iPaaS) supports all your application integration processes – between cloud platforms, software-as-a-service applications, and on-premises systems. Your entire team has online access to a powerful range of integration and data management capabilities, that can be realized in a fraction of the time of legacy middleware technologies.

GoldenGate Cloud Service is a cloud based real-time data integration and replication service, which provides seamless data movement from various on-premises relational databases to databases in the cloud while maintaining data consistency and offering fault tolerance and resiliency.

SAS/ACCESS is an out-of-the-box solution for integrating SAS and third-party databases. You can read, write and update data regardless of the database or platform. Because the data appears native to SAS, there is no need to learn Structured Query Language (SQL) or any other database-specific query languages.
