Overview
Basecamp is a web-based project-management tool developed by Basecamp and launched in 2004, with a new version being launched in 2012. Basecamp offers to-do lists, wiki-style web-based text documents, milestone management, file sharing, time tracking, and a messaging system. Basecamp Classic also offers integration with Basecamp's own Campfire product, and features APIs that are used by a host of web and mobile apps. Basecamp Classic's interface is available in different languages (e.g. Spanish, French, Italian, German, Finnish and Japanese). The newer version of Basecamp currently only supports English as the interface language.

RationalPlan is a project management software designed to help project managers and teams to manage projects by creating consistent project plans, allocating resources and analyzing workload, tracking work progress, estimating project costs and managing budgets.

It offers several deployment solutions to cover different needs. There are several On Premise products that get installed on the customers hardware architecture but RationalPlan can also be used as a Cloud service.

Enterprise companies means a big number of users with more or less knowledge about managing work, tasks, projects or resources. RationalPlan is well designed: easy to use and practical for the entry personnel but powerful for team leaders, managers and executives.
