We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:
"I like the simplicity of this solution and the fact that it saves us time. The deployment was really straightforward and useful and I am impressed by the anti-virus endpoint detection and response offered by this solution."
"The solution has exchange protection. It has a content control, device control, a firewall, and anti-malware as well. They are all quite valuable features for us."
"The endpoint protection is the solution's most valuable feature."
"McAfee synchronizes security across the security fabric."
"The most valuable features are the integration with different modules like the DLP."
"It has a very good interface."
"The most valuable feature is the security, which is very effective compared to other products."
"The features that I have found most valuable are its ability to detect and delete known malware and the DLP in particular."
"The good part of this solution is that it protects the systems from malware etc. It also has a good user interface."
"It can be set up easily and then connected with the server to get the latest updates."
"The technical support is good. They are fast to respond and they have weekend support."
"There are blurred lines between anti-virus and endpoint detection so I would say it can be confusing when you are considering buying this program. I would like to see that being explained better to the customer."
"There needs to be better integration with the environment. Especially, for the active directory and also for keeping up with the changes from Microsoft. We use a lot of Microsoft OS. I have noted that sometimes they lag behind Microsoft updates. For example, when with Windows 10. I had some issues with deploying to Windows 10 because the solution was behind in updating their own services to match the Microsoft release."
"The database needs improvement. It needs to be updated quite a bit."
"They could try to introduce advanced threat detection."
"The advanced threat protection is not as good as our competitors."
"It's an expensive solution."
"The dashboard should be improved, as a more user-friendly version is required."
"They could improve the monitoring and classification of the data features."
"Sometimes, the updates don't happen successfully. The updates start, but they are not completed. Let's say there is a process that runs on the server-side every night, and it pushes the updates. Sometimes, these updates fail. I'm not sure whether it is a McAfee's problem or an internal problem with our systems. If this is really an issue with McAfee MOVE AntiVirus, McAfee can work on it and improve it in the next release. If it is an internal issue, I need to figure out why it is happening within the organization. We may need to take some technical support from McAfee to see what the problem is and then we need to get it fixed. At this point in time, all I know is that it happens sometimes."
"This solution is okay for users who are just office personnel. Developers or users who heavily use their laptops complain that it really slows down their laptops. Using this solution can be a big challenge from the performance perspective if you need a productive system that locally runs multiple VMs."
"I would like to see more emphasis on cybersecurity in the next release."
"There's a yearly cost for licensing. For us, that comes to $1,400. There are no additional costs beyond the license itself."
"The licensing fees are billed on an annual basis."
"The solution is not expensive."
"It could be cheaper, but anybody would like a good product at a lesser price."
"The solution requires a license."
"Pricing is reasonable."
"There is no monthly fee. You just purchase the tool."
