We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
This solution blocks the brand new malware threats. In terms of the current global landscape, it is a great solution.Advanced level endpoint firewall, which helps to block unwanted and malicious traffic. What is great about ESET is the ERA Web Console through which we can pull various reports, monitor and administer all clients and servers, and the console is easy to use.A feature we like is setting the GUI of ESET Endpoint Security/ESET File Security to silent mode because some servers and clients can have performance issues. We use ESET, which is pretty much perfect for us. It is also absolutely simple and automatic once setup. We have not picked up a bug yet, because we use ESET, which is a tried and proven system. It is absolutely invisible once running.

The most valuable feature is its ability to customize for different groups. This solution helps us by providing central management of anti-malware and anti-exploit functionality. It gets the job done, and they are consistently updating it monthly. It comprehensively finds and removes malicious software. It allows us to have better knowledge of the way people use the tool and how we can improve their workflows. We don't have to spend any time remediating bad things happening: Not viruses nor ransomware.

Cons
I would like them to use AI features to do preventative virus protection.ESET should consider giving it application control. They need to improve licensing for VMs. When ESET is uninstalled from a VM, the seat stays on the license management server. We have to manually delete the seat from that server because it doesn't know how to handle it. I contacted exclusive ESET support here in Croatia and they told me there is no solution for this yet.iOS compatibility for mobile security and parental control.

We experience a lot of false positives. This solution reports far too many false positives! They should make it faster, less taxing on the processor. There is room for improvement in the way it is deployed, in terms of being able to distribute it. Right now we have to get our hands on a machine to deploy it. It would be nice if there was an easier system.I would like to see integration with other vendors going forward.Every once in a while, it gets clobbered by updates from other places. I don't think this should happen.

Pricing and Cost Advice
At first, we thought it was a bit expensive, but we negotiated a better price. The cost is a very reasonable. When compared with other products, the price is low (though not very low).ESET is perfect, if you can afford it.Pricing per month, for security services as apps in CEE pricing: up to €2 monthly is OK.
