Pros
This has improved our organization by allowing people to see their data and develop visualizations themselves.

The user interface and dashboards are very good. Our Qlikview applications help us to get a good idea of our Client Base Performance and assist us in the decision making for Seasonal Specials. On the other hand QlikView helps us to get a grasp on our Suppliers and helps us to negotiate pricing with them. The language support is very good.On the positive side, QlikView's scripting is a great asset as it functions as an ETL.This is a very cool application with endless options of creativity and visuals. This solution has simplified getting to and understanding our data, no matter where it is housed. It's pretty easy to deploy. The initial setup is not very complex.

Cons
There is a significant degree of sophistication required to compete with Tableau or Cognos.

The solution is quite costly. It would be nice if QlikView could be plugged in into the company's website or an online portal such as QlikSense is capable of. There are ways around but it takes enormous time to develop. There is no automation or drag and drop functionality. If a user wanted to see something not included in the application the new object had to be created by a power user or developer because Qlik view's scripting has somewhat of a learning curve.I really wish the application was easier to use in the development phase. This solution would be improved with the inclusion of a feature that would allow us to add a common library of (our) commands used in load scripts and expressions, so with a keyword, we would get a drop down to select the command we are looking for, as opposed to the generic help.I would want them to have more options as a user. It would be nice for them to create their own dashboards and add fields. The pricing is high.

The setup costs for QlikView are fair as are the yearly maintenance fees. The licensing becomes a bit more expensive and requires some planning for onboarding. It is not very expensive. I think it it is on par with other similar products on the market. The pricing is too high compared to the other solutions on the market.
