We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable features are the composable structure, infrastructure, and automation.""It is very stable. We have had no downtime nor issues in approximately a year. ""It's rather simple to use, and that's very important for us.""Easy to see if all my servers are on correct firmware levels, with SPP packaging.""We cannot function without this solution. ""Provides the strongest support for automation.""We could literally swap out a piece of hardware, slide one back into the chassis, and immediately - about three reboots later - it was identical. We didn't have to worry about configuring it, we didn't have to spend any time getting anything into place. It came back and it healed the environment almost immediately.""Have a single plane of glass across all of the server platforms."

Cons
"I think HPE could make more user-friendly interfaces, exclude Java and move to an HTML5 platform, make more detailed documentation, and lower the price.""I saw, maybe three years ago or two years ago here, or in Barcelona, at the HPE Discover conference, a feature that you can update Clusterware with VMware. But the feature is still not live in production. Currently, you have to do all the firmware updates and then you have to do the VMware updates. So you have two reboots and it would be better if it was just one.""Integration could be improved. Sometimes OneView doesn't identify physical hardware.""There was a feature called HPE cloud manager, but now it is owned by Micro Focus. HPE should make a cloud optimizer again.""The solution's console can be improved by making it more user-friendly and adding the capability to filter the reports out using only the information required.""I have to chop it up into smaller parts, because I have an installation in Europe and it covers the whole world. That is not so good. They need to be more localized, so I am going to chop it up into smaller bits.""Use it, but do not think it is going into the clouds, because it is not. There is room for improvement.""It would be better if we can add every HPE device to OneView, such as MSA, as well as the other servers like the DL server and ML server."
