The ease of use, or ease of management, could be improved.End-to-end encryption specifically is something the solution needs to have in the next release.It would be helpful to have more querying tools and more development tools for us to work easily with Microsoft.I would like to see better support for advanced analytics.The initial set up was complex.Do not use support. Freely available documentation is a bit weak.​​Not very solid compared to its competitors' products.​Some of the internal rearrangement in the administration is not as straightforward as it is in competing products.

Maria DB has to improve from a management perspective.In the next release, I would like to see improvements in the scalability and redundancy features.The interface should be more user-friendly. It should be able to connect directly to the database and Interact with it without having to use commands. It needs better integration.
