Pros
The integration with R & Python for predictive modeling, and possibly machine learning in the future, is very valuable. The most valuable feature of QlikSense is that you can capture the data without modifying it and then perform the ETL (extract, transform, and load) process. We have found the use of AI to be the most valuable feature. This tool not only allows for consumption of the data in a visual way, but also allows the user to modify the question to get new answers. The most valuable features are the mobility and web integration. The UI is very easy to use, with drag and drop self-service analytics. All the necessary information is available to everyone in real time. The drag and drop UI has been the most useful to me.

I have found the dashboard creating feature helpful. It has allowed me to move my data to the cloud.Allows users to build their own solutions without as much reliance on technology staff.Ability to work with very large data sources without the limitations of Excel. The dashboard design interface is very intuitive and allows you to quickly and easily produce professional, innovative dashboards. No issues with stability. It is a very stable solution.A very simple setup: Easy to download, install, and updates are pain free.Support is very responsive and clearly one of the strengths of Sisense. I have always received a fast response and the staff is very helpful.

Cons
As we are a very process-oriented company, we would like to see more extensions maintained from Qlik, because it's a huge budget problem to choose the right one.Currently, we are not very happy with the iPad or iPhone app because it is not working as we want. There is room for improvement in the learning curve when getting started, but training resources have been growing. The product could be improved by implementing a user-feedback ranking system.I would like to have support for table formats without having to use an extension.Advanced graphs or visualizations must be in the built-in product, instead of building with open API extensions or mashups. The next version should include more standard integrations. The only thing I would say that comes up is that sometimes it can be a bit buggy.

They should improve the filters to create downloaded data by moving them to the top of the dashboard.I would like to see more development and growth for the support of Knowledge Base and Community forums.I would love to have more customization capabilities for building dashboards, especially in creating custom widget sizes.I would also like to be able to run a bursts of reports based on different field values with PDF output right in the tool, rather than filtering on each field value and generating each PDF manually. The initial version we purchased only ran on Windows servers, which was less than ideal for our DevOps team. I believe that has been remedied in the latest release.

Pricing and Cost Advice
Qlik Sense and its pricing model can follow any scalability.QlikSense offers a Hybrid environment architecture, which is very cost effective based on where the enterprise data resides.Licensing can start to get expensive, but compared to other tools in this space it is about average.Licensing is quite good, easy, but slightly expensive.Costs are a little high on the license/token side. However, if you look at the TCO, it is not too bad, particularly against Power BI.Know your needs when going into the purchasing decision. The costs can initially become quite high. Make sure you have a clear understanding of who will truly use the product as opposed to someone that will simply receive the end report. The new licensing model is much better.
