We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
This solution has simplified getting to and understanding our data, no matter where it is housed. On the positive side, QlikView's scripting is a great asset as it functions as an ETL.It's pretty easy to deploy. The initial setup is not very complex. You can do a lot of things on the back end which are not possible in the other solutions on the market.I had the option to prepare data myself instead of always having to depend on the data team.Scripting as per a customer's need, which is a pretty cool feature and not available in other tools. The in-memory feature gives us better insight. It's also easy to drill down into the information and select information.

I have found the dashboard creating feature helpful. It has allowed me to move my data to the cloud.Allows users to build their own solutions without as much reliance on technology staff.Ability to work with very large data sources without the limitations of Excel. The dashboard design interface is very intuitive and allows you to quickly and easily produce professional, innovative dashboards. No issues with stability. It is a very stable solution.A very simple setup: Easy to download, install, and updates are pain free.Support is very responsive and clearly one of the strengths of Sisense. I have always received a fast response and the staff is very helpful.

Cons
This solution would be improved with the inclusion of a feature that would allow us to add a common library of (our) commands used in load scripts and expressions, so with a keyword, we would get a drop down to select the command we are looking for, as opposed to the generic help.If a user wanted to see something not included in the application the new object had to be created by a power user or developer because Qlik view's scripting has somewhat of a learning curve.I would want them to have more options as a user. It would be nice for them to create their own dashboards and add fields. The pricing is high.It needs work with visualization.Needs improvement with UI transparency.More/newer visualisation components need to be added.Installation and deployment could be made easier and quicker.

They should improve the filters to create downloaded data by moving them to the top of the dashboard.I would like to see more development and growth for the support of Knowledge Base and Community forums.I would love to have more customization capabilities for building dashboards, especially in creating custom widget sizes.I would also like to be able to run a bursts of reports based on different field values with PDF output right in the tool, rather than filtering on each field value and generating each PDF manually. The initial version we purchased only ran on Windows servers, which was less than ideal for our DevOps team. I believe that has been remedied in the latest release. The administrative side of Sisense is a little cumbersome and confusing.
