The most valuable features are synchronous replication for data integrity, snapshot capability for multiple reasons such as for recovery and also for cluster upgrades. Snapshots are really a key feature.

a. A true virtualized storage system or enterprise storage system for capacity/data level virtualization.
b. Performance increased with capacity if additional array included with existing deployment (Scale up architecture).
c. Firmware compatibility across models and generations. Virtualization can be done with any generation and any feature model.
d. All included application model. Need not to worry about application selection or pricing. Even if any new application/functionality included into PS Series platform in future that will also be entitled for current system.

Synchronous replication. One group, one pool, one IP address, the member stands in two different datacenters with, for example, two hosts in DC1 and two hosts in DC2 in same ESX cluster. If you have one datacenter fail, the VMs will start to run inside the other data center.
