A lot of people don't know that Plus offers much better features than the OSS version. In an organization that's running a private CDN, they might have thousands of instances right now. 

Moving to NGINX Plus is a huge cost. The list price of NGINX Plus is close to $5,500. If you upgrade all the thousands of instances, it can cost up to $6 million for optimization, which some customers may not be willing to do for all of the instances.

The cost is reasonable.

The solution is free, but you can spend a lot of money with a complex solution.

The pricing of NGINX Plus is a bit steep compared to other options I have used. NGINX Plus licensing is annual or three-year based, and it is socket-based. You pay for the license according to the number of server sockets you need. The license is bound to a specific server or virtual server, so it can't be used across multiple servers unless you opt for a multi-tenant license.

It's an open source solution, so it's free.

I believe NGINX Plus offers very reasonable pricing for companies. Although I didn't buy it myself, companies that did found it to be affordable, especially with free versions available for specific needs.

We are currently using the free version of NGINX. No costs have been incurred yet.

HAProxy is cheaper than NGINX.

We are using the open source version of the solution. 

For us, the solution is pretty affordable. We don’t use it too much. It’s inexpensive for our setup. That said, I can’t speak about the exact cost.

The cost of NGINX Plus is high. NGINX Plus is an open-source solution with limited additional features. When you try to get additional features in the solution, then you need to pay an extra amount to NGINX Plus.

This would follow the technical evaluation. After that, we'll meet with the commercial team to go over these details. But, as of now, I have no idea how much that product or solution costs.

Because the solution is modular, it is not like F5, where you pay for the box, then licenses, and that's it. You pay for each feature that you want. It has both benefits and drawbacks. The benefits, in my opinion, are that you can pay for whatever you want. The drawback is that you must obtain a license for everything.

They offer a free product, but there's a license for the more advanced features like API gateway. It's a mid-range cost. 

The licensing cost is yearly, and it can be quite expensive.

I use the solution's community edition which is free of cost. 

I do not know about this.

NGINX Plus is moderately priced, but it could give better value for money.

NGINX Plus is worth it, if you need it. If you do not need the features or support, the free and open source package is more than capable. 

NGINX is a free tool in Brazil. There are some companies which do support it. The price is the cost to contract support with a specialized company, usually during consulting hours.

I have no advice. Nginx is free. I don't have experience with the Plus version.
