PegaRULES is a scalable tool. I have worked on banking applications where many loan cases are generated. I've also worked on larger healthcare clients with many cases or work objects generated. PegaRULES can handle that, so it's scalable.

The tool also follows the concept of load balancing, so if the load is too high, you can scale it, for example, when many users log in and work on items in PegaRULES. You apply the load-balancing concept. Based on the client's budget, there can be multiple nodes in a single cluster in PegaRULES, such as five or six nodes. PegaRULES will route to a node with fewer users or lesser load, so the load balancing feature of the tool helps make the tool scalable.

It's quite scalable in nature. I would rate it a seven out of ten in terms of scalability.

I work for a huge client organization with at least 500,000 people. Across the globe, there might be many more. In my organization, there are 2,000 to 3,000 people. It's a tool that is being used on a daily basis.

The scalability is good. I'd rate it eight out of ten overall. 

When it comes to using software in a low-volume market and a few of the other smaller markets, scalability is not much of a factor. When it comes to implementation in countries in Southeast Asia like Vietnam or Indonesia, then the volumes are very high, and we have seen Pega stand up to those challenges. It is scalable.

At a previous organization, there were a couple of thousand users executing PegaRULES, and there were 30 to 50 users creating and modifying rules.

It can also be scaled up. It is determined by the scope of the data, but it can be scaled up to meet the requirements of the application. It's in hardware and adding hardware to an extra. It will follow the data availability features. Pega will support the ability of Java applications to scale up based on stability. I don't know much about that particular hardware side, but I can say that it can scale up to meet the needs of the user. It is dependent on the application or how large these applications are. It can be scaled to any size.

The number of users is dependent on the project. There are large projects that may involve 10,000 or more users. In a few applications, you may see only 1,000 or 500 users or something along those lines. It is dependent on the application and who is using it.

I rate the scalability of the solution a five out of ten, taking into account the requirements, user base, licensing, and hardware constraints that could potentially limit scalability.

I would rate PegaRULES' scalability a nine out of ten.

From a scalability perspective, it's scalable. In terms of high volume, we have some applications based out of Vietnam which have millions of cases, so in terms of the number of cases, it's highly scalable. We have other customers who also have a high volume of users.

This is a scalable product. We have perhaps 50,000 users across our clients who use it.
