Allan’s background is in Computing, Project Management and Science. Areas of specialization include data quality, data profiling and scoring, IT business processes, methodology and the implementation of SAS Solutions including Data Integration, Analytics and Financial Management. Current focus is on Customer Advocacy for QFire Software; data validation for business users.
Starting with an MSc in remote sensing with a focus on pattern recognition and the analysis of digital data, Allan went on to teach at the University of New South Wales. As a member of the UNSW Centre for Remote Sensing and GIS Allan was part of international programs involving China, NASA and other organizations around the world.
A move to business in 2000 led to working with SAS Institute in Heidelberg, Germany where his skills were focused on the implementation of analytics solutions. As part of SAS Professional Services Allan developed methodology and developed best practices for selling, planning and implementing software solutions. The latest role as Customer Advocate and COO for QFire Software brings all these experiences together to deliver better data quality solutions for business users.
