"The Tintri product line as a whole has freed up a lot of resources from constant administration of legacy enterprise storage."

More Tintri Global Center [EOL] Pros →

"The most valuable feature is service assurance.""It can send messages to our ticketing system.""I have found that the reporting feature in Zabbix is most valuable. Additionally, the solution has given us bandwidth options, we are able to see where problems are. For example, we noticed a problem that occurred because of a bad interface going in the wireless VLAN.""We detect problems before the customer does and before it actually happens using the predictive functions in Zabbix.""They've already added extra features, such as noise-canceling and facial recognition, which is great.""Every new asset placed in the environment can be automatically detected, predicting human failures.""Zabbix is an excellent performance monitoring tool.""It's a very reliable platform and we've never had any issues regarding the scalability or the stability of Zabbix."

Cons
"DX SaaS is a latecomer to the APM market. Some things that are straightforward in Dynatrace are complicated in DX. For example, upgrading the agents is a seamless process in Dynatrace, but it's a pain in DX SaaS. You should be able to upgrade in the Application Command Center. However, it is not working correctly.""Old user interface and dashboards could be improved.""The ability to scale presents a challenge as the cost of handling vast amounts of data in the cloud must be taken into account."

More DX SaaS Cons →

"A better Tintri would be a "cheaper" one to get things started again."

More Tintri Global Center [EOL] Cons →

"For us, the initial setup was complex""In terms of user-friendliness, large maps could be more interactive. We should be able to click on some areas and move some objects. It would make it simpler to see things while analyzing some dedicated parameters.""The main problem with Zabbix is that you have to spend time writing templates for all of the products that you have.""I would like to better be able to monitor Oracle processes.""I would like to remotely connect to the computer, and Zabbix doesn't have this capability.""Documentation terminology could be improved.""Look and feel.""Implementation is always tailored to the customer and the kind of information we need from the client to carry it out can make them very uncomfortable. Sometimes the clients are not ready to share it."

I have researched a quite a few network monitoring tools which can be used for various monitoring purposes of not only the servers, but the intermediate routers as well. There are majorly three types of these softwares. Ones which are completely open-source, you can do almost anything you want using these, but they require quite some expertise before you can use them. Then there are the ones that are not open source, the enterprise softwares and cost you some money, but on the other hand, they are extremely easy to set-up and learn. You can have them up and running in a matter of minutes. And then there are those which are completely cloud based. They can be free of cost or charge some money depending on the software. The good thing about these is that you don’t have to install any extra software, and it can be managed completely online but then again these have limited features and you cannot exploit them to the full extent as you can do with the open-source and to some extent the enterprise software, so I won’t suggest you to use these, because these are generally not the complete solutions and require other support software to achieve the same. Below I have listed the outstanding pros and cons of the various Network analyzers that you can look into Nagios Pros: Nagios offers an extensive set of collector plug-ins that allows users to gather performance and availability data from a broad range of operating systems, including  Windows and Netware Nagios… Read more →

    Overview

Dx SaaS is a solution whose goal is to ensure that businesses and organizations can monitor and manage the way that users experience their applications. This solution contains many powerful tools that are designed to give administrators the maximum amount of control over the experiences that clients have when employing their applications. Organizations and businesses can rest easily and ensure that the product they put out into the world is always being watched for potential issues that will be resolved proactively and quietly.

    Dx SaaS Benefits

Some of the benefits that come from using Dx SaaS include:

    • Improve the overall experience of your users at all stages of their journey. Dx SaaS provides administrators with the ability to cull proactive insights into not only the actual performance of the application, but also the way that users are experiencing the application. This makes it possible for administrators to address pain points before they can become major issues.
    • Full visibility across all aspects of the application. Dx SaaS enables organizations to see what is going on in every part of their applications. Every aspect of the application is fully visible to them. They can keep track of both users and their IT infrastructure without having to rely on other solutions.
    • Run Dx SaaS flexibly. Users can run Dx SaaS from their premises, investing in hardware and software, if they so wish. Alternatively, users can run Dx SaaS as a pure SaaS-based solution if that is a better fit for their needs.

    Dx SaaS Features

When users choose to employ the DX SaaS solution, they gain access to many different capabilities. These features include:

    • Relationship mapping capabilities. Users can visually represent all of the parts of the application and their relationships. This can aid administrators in understanding precisely how their applications, architecture, and networks operate.
    • Customizable dashboards. Administrators can build dashboards that are most suited to meet their needs, fine-tuning them to perform the analysis and functions that are most relevant to their objectives.
    • Root-cause analytical capability. DX SaaS makes it possible for users to find the causes of any and all issues that arise. Its analytical capabilities scan for anomalies and find issues early on. This gives administrators and IT professionals insights that enable them to keep applications running optimally.
