Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I appreciate Amazon's extensive range of services, which makes it a favorable choice.""EFS is flexible.""The initial setup was straightforward.""The solution is scalable.""We are not that big of a cloud user. We just use it for the storage of our bytes. The most valuable aspect is the storage.""We can run code and deploy it whenever we want.""The most beneficial feature of the product for data storage stems from the fact that it serves as a shared file storage.""Its elasticity and flexible pricing are the most valuable. For Amazon EFS, you are charged based on the storage. It is also very fast and stable with a very simple and intuitive interface."

"I find Amazon S3 Glacier valuable for storing various documents like purchase orders, standard documents, and drawings.""The solution’s storage management is good and dynamic. The product is highly stable. The solution is highly scalable. The customer service and support is good. The initial setup is straightforward. I recommend the solution.""The product is easy to use.""The solution is easy to use.""Amazon S3 Glacier is an easy-to-use solution.""The biggest advantage of the product is that AWS always copies the tool internally.""Amazon S3 Glacier is a very cheap storage, where we store infrequently used data.""The data archive feature is valuable."

More Amazon S3 Glacier Pros →

"It is very easy to use SSTP and some traditional code to move the data into a database because we can easily use the permissions and we don't have any integration or conversion issues.""We have not explored the desktop performance analysis of the file storage, but the user interface, API, and the response that we receive over the file storage are very good. We have a lot of customers that connect to the client-side, click the images, and upload them. The beauty of the solution is that we can mount the file storage into a critical server as well as an external drive. The speed that we receive with the images is pretty good.""It's a scalable solution.""The initial setup is straightforward and takes approximately twenty minutes.""The most valuable feature of Microsoft Azure File Storage is the cloud file storage capability.""First of all, the solution is very secure. Secondly, the solution is very fast. It is reliable and available all the time.""The profile management option is another valuable feature that allows us to manage the profiles and secure them.""The product is a reliable cloud solution."

Cons
"Around 80 percent of the features of Amazon EFS (Elastic File System) are available on Linux and not in Windows, making it a major drawback of the product.""Its deployment process could be faster while installing the Python package directly into the environment.""The lack of transparency in the costs attached to the product is an area of concern where improvements are required.""It should be simplified. There are people who don't have cloud experience. It should be storage that we are able to just connect to.""The user activity needs to be more connected.""Specifically, when it comes to the file system for the learning system, we encountered performance issues with both Azure and AWS.""The interface seems strange and complicated.""It could be better in connecting with Windows Server instances."

More Amazon EFS (Elastic File System) Cons →

"Amazon S3 Glacier's data retrieval time is slow compared to other AWS storage services and should be improved.""There is room for improvement in handling GDPR compliance better. GDPR is about personal data protection and retention. It would be great if S3 Glacier could handle compliance items related to this, especially with upcoming legislation like the California law, which restricts data storage time and allows users to request data deletion.""Amazon S3 Glacier is a cheaper tool if you're running it on-prem, but it is expensive if deployed on the cloud.""I would like to see the retrieval time reduced.""I am unsure if the product provides good integration capabilities. From an improvement perspective, I want the tool to provide easier integration features.""The product needs to improve cloud security.""The learning curve is very high.""The solution's cloud storage is very expensive, and users may not be able to afford cloud storage."

More Amazon S3 Glacier Cons →

"Microsoft Azure File Storage should improve its pricing.""Lacks integration with other platforms.""Firewall rules should be introduced to secure the access date from any virus attacks. Anti-virus should be introduced in the work filtering and document filtering.""Importing and exporting data needs to have a bit more documentation.""The solution should support all the legacy storage systems.""It’s a challenge to find the right support person.""The storage account key could be a security issue.""Maybe Microsoft can make it more economical because it is a costly affair."

    Overview

Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS) provides simple, scalable file storage for use with Amazon EC2 instances in the AWS Cloud. Amazon EFS is easy to use and offers a simple interface that allows you to create and configure file systems quickly and easily. With Amazon EFS, storage capacity is elastic, growing and shrinking automatically as you add and remove files, so your applications have the storage they need, when they need it.

When mounted to Amazon EC2 instances, an Amazon EFS file system provides a standard file system interface and file system access semantics, allowing you to seamlessly integrate Amazon EFS with your existing applications and tools. Multiple Amazon EC2 instances can access an Amazon EFS file system at the same time, allowing Amazon EFS to provide a common data source for workloads and applications running on more than one Amazon EC2 instance.

It’s designed for high availability and durability, and provides performance for a broad spectrum of workloads and applications, including Big Data and analytics, media processing workflows, content management, web serving, and home directories.

Amazon Glacier is a secure, durable, and extremely low-cost cloud storage service for data archiving and long-term backup. Customers can reliably store large or small amounts of data for as little as $0.007 per gigabyte per month, a significant savings compared to on-premises solutions. To keep costs low, Amazon Glacier is optimized for infrequently accessed data where a retrieval time of several hours is suitable.

Fully managed file shares that use the standard SMB 3.0 protocol

    Key scenarios:

    • Share data across on-premises and cloud servers
    • Migrate file share-based applications to the cloud with no code changes
    • Integrate modern applications with File storage
    • Simplify hosting for high availability workload data
