We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"G Suite Enterprise is user-friendly, and the technical toolkits and other information are on the website. Additionally, the technical documents are comprehensive.""Reduces IT spend, freeing up cash for other areas: sales, marketing, recruitment, etc.""It's more open than Microsoft and easy to use.""Users can work anywhere with an internet connection.""personally prefer to use G Suite applications, such as Gmail, Slides, and Sheets, because they give you the freedom to share the document you're editing and co-work with other colleagues simultaneously.""G Suite Enterprise provides many features, such as business increased search visibility, email address, and domain. It's a large whole ecosystem that is the major benefit. You can manage your whole team and have many tools. Over seven years, the solution has gone through some drastic upgrades and improvements which are done automatically, I do not have to manual upgrade.""The implementation was very easy.""We haven't had any issues with scalability - we have over a thousand employees, and G Suite just scales."

"The initial setup is quite a straightforward process. I don't think it is a very complicated solution. Plenty of things could be more complex, but the ordinary, general settings are quite simple.""It's an excellent product from Microsoft. It provides more flexibility to the end-users. As it's connected with Teams, it also enables collaboration.""Exchange is very scalable, it's one of the most important things about this software.""The product can scale.""I like the logistics and the Microsoft protocol of reaching Outlook anywhere.""It is a very stable tool...It is a very scalable tool.""It's a very user-friendly application. The mail server is also valuable when compared to other services like SquirrelMail.""It is easy to set up."

Cons
"The price could be reduced.""I talked with G Suite recently because my G Suite has a temporary block. I communicated with the G Suite representative or Google representative, and he told me that I sent a lot of emails, so my email was temporarily blocked. But I know I have not sent more than 500 emails daily to reach the limit. I sent only 5,200 emails, but unfortunately, my G Suite account was temporarily blocked for 24 hours, and then he resolved it. I think they need to improve G Suite because this temporary block is not fair.""If you use a name with a special character like a slash in the folder, it will crash the migration, with no warning. There is no pre-warning or anything to tell you that if you use characters in a file name that it will crash the migration.""Their tool called Sheets is the counterpart to Excel but it doesn't have the same functionality that Excel would have. So usually if somebody needs to go back to Excel or Office, it's because of Excel.""The UI could be more graphic and sassy, but otherwise, it is quite functional.""And I think Google Translate could add more features. For example, it could be integrated when typing in a document or a web browser like Grammarly.""There is some redundancy in the functionality between certain modules.""There are too many steps for sharing pictures."

"An improvement would be to combine Exchange and Teams so that emails, calls, and chats can be integrated into one window.""Microsoft Exchange could improve by being more secure. We are always looking to have more security.""They could improve on the search function, it takes too much time.""Its search functionality can be better. It is currently not really easy. It has the capability to search your mailbox, but it has some restrictions in terms of the number of results that you can retrieve. You can only get around 250 results. If you want to do a deeper search, you need to use different functionalities of the product. The policy that we have for handling emails is that we do not delete emails at all. If I insert the text that I am searching for in the Search field, it only retrieves a limited number of emails. To search for an email from 2010, I need to use different search functions to find what I am looking for. Microsoft can also improve its licensing for its products. Microsoft's licensing is not very easy to understand. It can sometimes be really complex to understand what you need to have in order to comply with Microsoft licensing.""Sometimes we don't get support quickly enough - for example, if there's some global hacker attack, we don't get served as quickly. The skills of the technical staff can also vary, and Microsoft could perhaps improve their training.""Microsoft Exchange's customer support could be faster and more knowledgeable.""I don't have the best impression of customer service and support. It should be faster and more clear, and more human. T""There can be occasional challenges during the product's implementation phase, making it an area where improvements are needed."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "G Suite and Microsoft Office 365 offer products with similar functionality at several different price points. Zoho offer a more extensive range of products and attempts to provide all the applications required to run most small and medium-sized businesses."
  • "Careful consideration should be given to the different licensing options and provisions should be made for additional applications that may be required for your particular business."
  • "Traffic management tools may be required for larger setups and should be included in any pricing calculations."
  • "There are several areas where a G Suite implementation can reduce costs: lower license fees than some competing products, reduced hardware, and IT support costs."
  • "There are benefits that can provide a competitive advantage, e.g., improved productivity (with appropriate training), increased collaboration (with correct use of tools), flexible working - work from home or remote locations, easy to scale - fast onboarding of new employees, and ability to add and remove licenses, as required."
  • "We receive value for the price that we pay."
  • "The pricing is a bit on the higher side than normal. For a basic Google account it costs $100, but Enterprise is %150."
  • "The price per client within the business is too high."

  • "They are flexible when it comes to pricing, unlike most of the other vendors I have dealt with."
  • "It's working very well. There is no problem, but the price is not the best."
  • "Its price is okay."
  • "It's a little bit expensive."
  • "Its price is very affordable, and basically, it is the standard of the industry. We have the Exchange 365 subscription, which includes the usage of Exchange Online. I don't know the specific cost, but it is the retail price of Microsoft 365 E3 licenses. Microsoft's licensing is not very easy to understand. Microsoft changes rules every other day, which makes it difficult for us to understand the licensing not only for Exchange but also for other products. It can sometimes be really complex to understand what you need to have in order to comply with Microsoft licensing."
  • "Microsoft doesn't have a unit price, it's based on the quantity, and they offer great discounts."
  • "We are currently using enterprise licenses for the solution. They are different pricing models available. There are individual, cloud-based, and enterprise licenses all with different pricing models. The larger the number of users, the lesser the price. For small to medium companies like us, we feel it is expensive."
  • "Its price is fair."
