View full review »Despite being in existence for over 20 years, the SAP Business Warehouse solution has persevered as one of SAP AG's finest products. It has continuously progressed in line with SAP's enterprise data warehouse strategy roadmap. As part of this strategy, SAP advocates for an enterprise-wide consolidated data warehouse solution to serve as the authoritative source for all reporting needs, including financial, sales, workforce, departmental, and procurement reporting.
The setup process may be prolonged and intricate due to the organization's size and level of maturity. However, once the system is operational, the process runs seamlessly.

The data warehouse part of the solution is always stable. While using SAP HANA In-Memory Database, I have seen that the product offers scalability and allows for the required customizations or changes. SAP offers stable products compared to the other ERP tools in the market.

The product is stable, but if it fails to meet the basic needs. It doesn't support my development lifecycle for the data warehouse.
I rate SAP BW4HANA's stability a nine out of ten.

Stability is something that needs to be improved. There are too many SAP nodes to implement on a regular basis to get everything working.

As this is an on-premises solution, scalability can be a challenge. SAP claim that it is scalable, but I don't think so because it will add to your cost. I think that it should be more cloud-oriented. Basically, it can be scaled but it has its limitations.
We have perhaps 200 to 300 users in our company and it is being used on a daily basis.

BW is a stable solution as long as it is on HANA. Otherwise, some applications with Big Data will result in performance issues.
