Varonis Datalert Other Advice

For unstructured data monitoring, it's one of the top ones, if not the top one, due to its usability. The telemetry to capture everything and the reports are very easy to configure without having a developer degree.

Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.

My advice to others interested in using this solution is to be very careful during the initial installation. Either purchase professional services assistance from a third party or get help from Varonis support. It's not a job that an average user can do. The slightest mistake can wind up costing you a lot of data.

Overall, on a scale from one to ten, I would give this solution a rating of nine.

Proof of concept and evaluation takes about a month. I would recommend not to skip this stage.

I would rate this solution as nine out of ten. What it does, it does really well. Some of the newer functionality that they're bringing out requires a lot more resources, so your infrastructure costs are going to go up and I'm not quite convinced that they have got it where it needs to be to provide the data that you have that can talk to you. Otherwise, it would have gotten a ten.
