Magic Software Enterprises is a global provider of software platforms for enterprise mobility, cloud applications, and business integration. Magic is listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange TA-100 Index. Magic Software Enterprises was founded in 1983 by David Assia and Yaki Dunietz as a spin-off from Mashov Computers, a publicly traded Israeli company that provided business solutions on microcomputers. The new company was originally named Mashov Software Export, and developed software for the global market, specifically an application generator named Magic.
Red Hat, Inc. is an American multinational software company providing open-source software products to the enterprise community. Founded in 1993, Red Hat has its corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina, with satellite offices worldwide. Red Hat has become associated to a large extent with its enterprise operating system Red Hat Enterprise Linux and with the acquisition of open-source enterprise middleware vendor JBoss. Red Hat also offers Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, an enterprise virtualization product. Red Hat provides storage, operating system platforms, middleware, applications, management products, and support, training, and consulting services.
