We performed a comparison between ABBYY Vantage and BotFarm based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable feature is the ability to scale for big processes. We are able to process 1 million pages a day. Its accuracy is also very nice. It is a good feature that they have. It is an independent platform, which is its biggest advantage as compared to other solutions. It is also very stable and powerful. It is 100% on time."
"The most valuable feature of ABBYY FlexiCapture is the accuracy of the general extractions."
"The UI is user-friendly and ABBYY Vantage supports over 100 languages."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is its ability to extract content from documents. It is able to identify specific fields and special characters."
"The solution's technical support is very supportive."
"The solution responds well to automatic document classifications with a 90% success rate."
"We can quickly integrate the catalogs with proper documentation."
"It's a very useful and user-friendly product."
"BotFarm has been working perfectly fine with our business model. Its scalability is the most valuable feature. We can easily scale out bots on a need basis. Portability is another valuable feature. We work with different payment systems like Visa and MasterCard and have bots for them. Because of BotFarm, we are able to reuse these bots."
"They recently released the newest version that has a good program flow, quality, and blueprints that are all good improvements to the automation. They also have good integration with SAP."
"The system is stable and very little maintenance is required, assuming the bots process is perfectly designed."
"The entire backend system structure is something that I found really valuable."
"The solution has very good processes. It's very easy to deploy and has good reviews on it. It offers good automation and the solution has very good developers working on it."
"The solution has been very user-friendly."
"There are not many challenges when setting up this solution, and there is a good amount of documentation to go with it."
"It is easy to use and very stable. It is a rugged product, and it doesn't break so easily."
"ABBYY FlexiCapture could improve the performance. We are looking for better performance because it can be a lengthy capture process and the accuracy needs to be enhanced when it comes to Arabic."
"The modelling, classification and handwritten information are not great."
"Initially, it was good, but now, in terms of ease of implementation and accuracy, there are better competitors in the market. What we are seeing in some of the other tools isn't there in ABBYY. They have to improve it to include such features. Otherwise, it will be difficult for them to compete in the market."
"There is an area of improvement. For example, when we read the data from the OCR, the accuracy is not good."
"One major area that requires improvement in ABBYY Vantage is its current JSON output format."
"Machine learning needs to be improved."
"There is always room for improvement in any product. Some of the configurations for the machine learning models for invoice reading are fairly complicated. There is so much customization that is possible with that sort of thing, so it makes sense that there are a lot of options, but some of the more important ones can be a little better streamlined or more upfront. Currently, machine learning models are a little bit difficult to configure satisfactorily."
"In IRISXtract, we can have master data, and we can set the master data. There are more options for taking any data and comparing it with master data. For a project, they have a dump from SAP for validation. This feature is there in ABBYY, but it is not extensive like IRISXtract. ABBYY is capturing the data, but there are not a lot of options to validate the captured data. It would be helpful if there are more options for validating the captured data in ABBYY FlexiCapture."
"We have connectivity and integration with pretty much every single tech stack across the table that we have in the world, and there are a few areas that they don't do that well yet. I'd be looking for some improvement there, in terms of their integration with certain products."
"When somebody is just learning this product it can be difficult for them to understand, so improvements to the user interface would be helpful."
"The user experience could be made a little better with this solution. I find it difficult to find qualified people to be able to use the solution."
"It would be ideal if the solution offered more language options, such as Arabic."
"I would like to be able to access BotForm using a mobile app."
"The licensing schemes could be more competitive. They need to be much more flexible in their pricing."
"I would like to see more process mining features to give us insight into them before we develop automation."
"Although I like the OCR technology, it could still be further improved."
