We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
The features that are most useful are the simplicity of deploying the package and the cryptosystem for managing all the situations on the computer.I like that you can manage all the time and you can uninstall and install everything via the web console.GravityZone can be controlled from the cloud.I have access to it from anywhere. We have clients who are also migrating from other anti-virus solutions to GravityZone because of the ease of use, ease of installation and the fact that it can be deployed in the cloud and the same software; you can actually install on other server or workstation. It automatically knows what it's protecting. They are constantly updating the solution against malware. One of the most valuable features is the signature updating in near real-time.The product is stable. It has a small footprint, but it does a lot of heavy lifting.

The feature we found most valuable is the AI functionality for maintaining endpoint security. This is very powerful.Valuable features include good scanning, very light footprint and management console that the client can access and (just as important) in which I can see status of groups of computers (I am a consultant, IT role).Auto-RemediationLow performance requirements. It is very lightweight on the workstations, not slowing them down while still doing its job very well. The ease of use of the centralized admin console is its best asset.SpeedThe Webroot cloud console is very powerful.

Cons
The cryptosystem could be improved a bit.The outreach from support was a bit bad according to their plan, but we've got two people here that manage and support GravityZone and interact with them and they manage it very well.We find it's making the machines run slow. The solution wasn't designed to be used in France. The pricing should be improved. The user interface has been improved on a yearly basis. The key issue is that they need to look at their pricing.I would like to see a remote desktop for installed endpoints so administrators can see what is on a user's screen or what a user is doing. What's happening now in this field is artificial intelligence, the behavior part. That is now the trend in many products, including Bitdefender, and this is where the product needs improvement. The one thing that we are missing and want to see is user analytics. So, that is what I'm really interested in: behavior analytics and end user behavior.

We need to know more details about how the virus interacted with the computer. The console spins up relatively slowly, and some of the configuration items are obscure (e.g., reporting back one time per day is a default setting) and need to be tweaked. An updated UI would be nice, but is not hardly used.Unified threat management (UTM) integration. The reporting is the weakest part of the Webroot console. Frequently, I export to Excel to massage something into it to pass on to others. It would be great if there was a feature which would allow you to scan an individual file on an endpoint user's computer. We need more control over when upgrades to the app are rolled out.It needs to improve the problems with the faster connection, and have a huge reduction in false positives.

Pricing and Cost Advice
It has a suitable price for every company and organization.Licensing is done on a yearly basis and it's workstation-based.The price is per license per endpoint. The price is different for everyone, but we find the price is cheap for us.

If you purchase for clients, then you are the managing billing entity. It's better to either get a monthly subscription check from your clients, or to prepay for the year (so as to not keep cash in reserve to pay the bill each month) IMHO.Work on a price tier plan.We evaluate other options using multiple choices, best value, management and functionality.Get a trial, then a multi-year license. Our strategy was to overestimate the complexity and cost. It turned out that Webroot's assurance was justified.
