We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The Provisioning Services are the most valuable feature. We have Premium licensing, so Provisioning Services is huge for us, along with the Virtual Apps and Desktops part. It allows us to have a vDisk for every region, one that can easily be copied between them if we need to, to limit the amount of updates we have to do.""For our company's customers, I feel that the product is stable.""The most valuable feature has to be the non-persistent desktop. If one of my users messes something up and blows away their desktop, it goes back to what it was originally, before they had an issue.""The architecture I built had a robust failover mechanism for the endpoints, and the interface was user-friendly.""XenDesktop has helped our users to work remotely with a better user experience.""For the most part, overall stability is what you would expect.""The App is the most valuable feature.""The tool helps me to connect with some apps of our company and resolve the tickets."

"We don't have problems with stability. Everything is good.""Parallels Access gives me full access and control of the computer, and I can do anything I want remotely.""It's great that the total deployment can happen completely remotely.""Parallels Access has flexible licensing policies, which is beneficial for customers who have intermittent usage or users who are on and off the system.""It's got a very easy-to-use interface."

Cons
"Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops are not easy to set up. However, I have the experience and I can do it easily. It could be easier to set up.""Where improvement could be driven is in terms of clarity as to the functionality of some of the solutions. If you go back to the older Citrix Xen products that we had, we understood those really well. As we've come into the new workstation premium suite, there is a lot of additional functionality that we perhaps have not yet fully exploited. It is not because we can't, but simply because we don't yet understand the depth of functionality that's offered.""Licensing service installation and configuration was the biggest challenge for all Citrix solutions, but now they have fixed a lot of issues.""I think improvement around the Analytics piece is super important. There has been a lot of maturity over the last year in that area, though a lot more needs to be done. Also, a lot more of the value of those Analytics needs to be sold to end users. Citrix is working on a lot of things that are ahead of the curve and a lot of organizations aren't quite there yet with implementing those technologies and capabilities.""If Citrix can develop something which can have more reach towards the backend infrastructure, other components of the Citrix environment, that would be ideal.""The Endpoint Management solution needs improvement when it comes to mobile device management. For example, they are still not supporting Windows 10 and this feature is required by many customers.""I would like to see simplification in the management of the on-prem infrastructure component of Citrix DaaS, particularly in the studio tool used to manage the DaaS infrastructure.""Citrix should consolidate the multiple tools currently required into a single platform."

More Citrix DaaS (formerly Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service) Cons →

"When you want to transfer a file from your iPad or remote device to the computer, the copy-and-paste feature doesn't always work.""They could improve the reporting.""The solution may not scale well for enterprises.""One challenge we do notice is that the application is limited to Windows servers only. If a customer has a Linux server, things get complicated. They should open it up a bit to be more compatible with different types of servers.""There is room for improvement in the pricing policy. The price point is pretty aggressive."
