I have a limited embedded team in IT. I have one man on the team for 1,000 users. And this person can manage all the infrastructure due to the fact that the console is very easy, and the people are very happy with the results pertaining to that interface. 

Also, I have created VPNs for all my users to work from their homes. 

Integrated management would probably be the most valuable feature. I can take a single FortiGate and manage switches and access points from a single login. I think it's on par with a Palo or a Check Point. I also like their sandbox. The solution covers what we need for most environments, whether small, midsize or enterprise. That aside, the user interface is pretty good and the packet capture works fairly well. The CLI is their own flavor of everything, but that's going to be true for just about anybody that's out there. IPS has widespread capabilities.

The solution effectively controls browsing traffic. 

The most useful feature of FortiGate IPS for me is Application Control.

Some security features are used for side blocking and antivirus and application control and bandwidth control. These are important for us.

I would say the GUI is the most valuable feature, it's a good interface.

We've found the most valuable feature to be the very user-friendly interface. The solution doesn't require any prior knowledge and that's not the case with other firewalls. Fortigate can mitigate all attacks, it can handle a lot. It has a good set of UTM features, a good bandwidth shaping mechanism, and other features. It has efficient algorithms and it competes well with Palo Alto and TechPoint. In terms of VPNs, it has an unlimited count, better than other solutions and it's included in the package.

The most valuable features of Fortinet FortiGate IPS are the dashboard and reporting which give us very good visibility.

The fact that Fortinet FortiGate IPS can prevent and log malicious intrusions, tries, and attempts is great. We can replace them and check the logs to see what happened.

We like signature-based anomaly detection and zero-day protection features. For zero-day protection, we use Cloud Sandboxing, so whenever the zero-day threat occurs, it automatically sends it to its Cloud Sandbox. After getting information from Cloud Sandbox, then the intrusion is defined.

It's very easy to manage things like the IPs or the URLs we need to whitelist. 

In terms of the user, we need to create one or just provide access. We have separate groups, which is useful.

The UI is also very familiar. It makes the solution easy to access and we find it easy to do the things we need to do thanks to the user interface.

It is easy to set up. 

Overall, it's a great solution. 

The detection is great. The possibility to detect any anomaly under our match work is great. We have a quick response.

The most valuable feature of Fortinet FortiGate IPS is its efficiency.

The feature that I find most valuable is its protection of the websites.

I think that the VPN software used through FortiGate is what our clients appreciate the most. They get secure reliable connections without lag.  

The solution provides an easy way to filter information and the Fortinet lab is a great place to discover new things. 

The most useful features of Fortinet FortiGate IPS are you can create a virtual firewall within it, most other firewalls do not have this feature. You are able to manage your network and have network segmentation within your firewall. Additionally, you can create virtual switches within the firewall and have policy management, such as firewall and access policy.

FortiGate protects and secures our clients' networks. The security is solid, and it performs well. I think they use some artificial intelligence, so I think it's excellent equipment.

I prefer FortiGate because it has a lot of other solutions embedded within it and is the easiest for our technicians to operate. It also has strong security factors, and it comes with SD-WAN.

I have found the decryption of Fortinet FortiGate IPS very good. It's called SSL deep inspection, it's working very well. This is how you decrypt access and traffic, and it is through the IPS antivirus center. Additionally, the UI is user-friendly. 

We already have the firewalls, and when I compare Fortinet FortiGate IPS to all the other firewalls, Fortinet is really useful and works very well.

We're currently relying heavily on the VPN capabilities, given that a lot of users are working remotely and that's been particularly useful for us. FortiGate has an extensive library for support so you rarely need to reach out to them, it's all easily accessible. 

I like its ability to prevent external intrusion into our database. It's so fun.
