I use Google Cloud Storage for backups and sending files, especially large files. 

This solution is cloud-based, so it's always updated to the latest version. 

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature of Google Cloud Storage is that the backup feature is always on. 

What needs improvement?

The storage could be improved to manage it a bit better. Google Cloud Storage could be more secure, but the security features are okay.

This solution is scalable. There are about 300 people using Google Cloud Storage in my organization.

I have never contacted Google's technical support. 

How was the initial setup?

The installation is pretty straightforward. I installed it myself, and it took roughly 30 minutes.

What about the implementation team?

I implemented this solution myself. 

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

For licensing, I pay yearly. The pricing is fine. 

What other advice do I have?

I rate Google Cloud Storage a 10 out of 10, and I would recommend it to others.

I was trying to close the gap using CloudBerry in conjunction with Google Cloud Storage.

This is a public cloud deployment model.

It is difficult to configure.

For how long have I used the solution?

We performed a trial of this solution for between one and two months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

This is a stable solution.

This is a scalable solution and you can scale it as you want.

How are customer service and technical support?

I have not had contact with technical support.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We did not use another solution prior to this one. I selected this one because I have experience with other Google services such as Gmail and Google Docs. There was familiarity.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of this solution was very simple. For this use case, we only needed S3 storage. The implementation involved defining three buckets, copying the information inside the CloudBerry console, and then installing the CloudBerry client on my desktop. The process took approximately four hours. 

What about the implementation team?

I took care of the deployment myself. It was very easy.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not evaluate other options before choosing this one. However, I will be looking at Microsoft Azure, Amazon, and other cloud storage services.

We are also considering migration to a private cloud service in Italy.

What other advice do I have?

This is a good solution because it's established and reliable, although it is not so simple to configure.

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

It integrates well with the Colab  platform. Everything that you create in Colab appears on your Google Drive.

    It appears to be scalable, and I haven't had any problem in that respect. We have between 40 and 50 users in the company. We don't have plans to increase usage at this time, although we may do so if we need to store more information.
