ManageEngine Log360 Scalability

Scalability is purely license-based. So I would rate the scalability a six out of ten.
Moreover, it's not just the license; there are also some technological limitations. It doesn't support all brands of devices; only a limited set is supported.
If we need to add something new, we have to request it from the engineering team, and they assess whether it's doable or not. If it is, then it goes into a queue for development and gets added in a new update. So, it depends on that.
It's mainly monitored by one or two people as a tool that oversees the entire network. In our organization, it's primarily used for capturing information. If someone needs details about a specific duration, the admin of the tool can log in and provide the necessary information.
It can assist in investigations, incident analysis, trend analysis, and more. It's used 24/7. We utilize its maximum potential.

We have about two admins monitoring the situation with a small IT setup and a single office. The product doesn't depend on the number of end users. It depends on the number of admins managing the system. If there are multiple locations, multiple offices, and different policies for different offices, then each office would need one or two users.
While we haven't scaled yet, it doesn't look like it will give us trouble if and when we decide to expand.
Right now, we have about 15 clients on the solution. Those are permanent. And then we are using some temporary resources. They are using different clients from time to time. On the server side, we have 20-something virtual servers that are investigated or under the control of those applications.

I rate the tool’s scalability a seven out of ten. The tool lacks some features. If those features are added, I would rate it a ten out of ten. One of our customers uses the solution. We get great feedback from them.

In terms of licensing, it is scalable, as well. Before your clients can go in, first they have to say they want to buy a license. Then you have to get the number of licenses they want. How many administrators do they want to manage the application? So that would tell me what kind of license to buy. In that regard, it's not difficult. Though I've had some challenges in the past where it expired and maybe they just want to renew, something like that. A client is ready to go to the command, CMD, to go to the right tools. Then you go to the license that you applied for before. However, even then, it's not complex at all.
I have successfully deployed for two clients, one is a bank and the second one is a pension fund administrator.

The scalability is very good. Very nice. We have a distribution version for big IT environments in a global context. We can collect some old download data, to check them, from one place on one single server.
Our organization is quite large, and we have no trouble using this solution to manage the work.
