View full review »SentinelOne is stable and constantly improving. Today I did a demo of a new acquisition they made for Active Directory. Ranger is the product that scans networks. This is a new product from a company they bought.
They do automated scans of your Active Directory infrastructure to identify fixable problems and anyone trying to take advantage of the unfixable problems. They're improving their core product while adding new functionality and products that I'm interested in.

The product has been up more than it's been down. We typically do get alerts if there is a maintenance window. That's appreciated. There have been times when we have had issues accessing the console. that tends to get resolved quickly. That said, no one vendor can boast resiliency.

The only time we ever had problems was when someone made a change to some of the roles, but it was not a SentinelOne issue. For the most part, as long as you have set up the tool correctly, it functions pretty much 100%. I cannot think of a time when it was down.

Stability-wise, I haven't run into many problems with SentinelOne Singularity Complete, except for one case where the agent was short-cycle restarting, but that was due to some problems I caused. I can't really complain about that.
I wouldn't say I liked the SELinux policy that you force out over Ansible configurations, which naturally conflicted with the SentinelOne Singularity Complete agent. Still, once that got flagged and tagged, it was fine.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the stability of the solution, which was why my company implemented it.

We haven't had any issues. There is nothing that's noticeable and it's never offline for long periods of time.
I would rate the stability of SentinelOne Singularity Complete as a seven out of ten. We have sometimes encountered problems where queries do not load or take an abnormally long time to load, especially when we are narrowing down the search range to a fourteen-day period, which is standard for us. We have also seen queries that run for twenty minutes or so and then log us out. Additionally, the time narrowing feature, or at least the custom time slots, where we can specify a date, such as September 18, may not work depending on how we write the query. We have had to get used to the custom syntax for the time stamps. Finally, we have sometimes seen data that does not update as often as it should.

We've had fewer issues with stability recently, mostly because they made some changes to the actual agents. Shadow copies were filling up the drives and causing some crashes. However, the more recent agents have been much more stable, which has been wonderful.

It's incredibly stable. We really haven't had any significant issues. There have been a couple of things here and there where certain versions of the product weren't disabling Windows Defender effectively. I think that was predicated on a GPO that we identified that had been accidentally linked and that kept turning Defender back on again. The issues were very trivial things.
I would rate the stability of SentinelOne Singularity Complete a nine out of ten.
View full review »Singularity Complete is stable, but there are occasional instances where the sensor monitors a specific process that starts to malfunction, which is naturally possible. In these cases, we need to investigate and add an exception to prevent the sensor from monitoring the process so heavily, if it is a valid process so that it can return to normal operation. Therefore, there is a significant amount of tuning required. If the tuning is correct, Singularity Complete operates quite well and is certainly stable.

In the 11 months that we have had it, we have only had one problem. That was related back to a bug on the endpoint agent. So. it is very stable when I compare it to other platforms that I have used, like McAfee, Symantec, and Cylance.
Being a SaaS service, they take care of all the maintenance on the back-end. The only thing that we have to do is lifecycle the agents when there is a new version or fixes. So, it is very minimal.

The baseline, the agents, the console, and its primary functions are always steady. Those have never been compromised by any of their patching or updating. That has been really good. In our case, we still have some Windows 7 devices in our environment because they're older. They run a very specific piece of software that's not been upgraded, and by watching money, they don't want to upgrade certain pieces of software, specific labs, or things like that. They don't support their older clients past a certain date, which makes perfect sense. However, the agent doesn't just stop working. It still does its job. It loses some of its functionality, but it still does the primary job of protecting the endpoint. That's one thing I do like. Even if you do go out of date on something on an agent version because you're limited by the operating system, it doesn't just die. It still does its job.

It has great stability. We haven't experienced any downtime or any kinds of bugs. If the users use the endpoints normally, nothing happens. SentinelOne is very stable and the agent rarely fails. The only time I've seen an agent fail is normally on a compromised system. The fact that it even works to protect a compromised system in the first place is amazing, but that's the only time that we actually see the failure of an agent. Specifically, it can happen when there's a compromise to the box prior to loading SentinelOne.
On a pristine new load of a workstation or server where it has no compromises and no malfeasance exists, the SentinelOne agent is incredibly stable and we rarely have any issues with the agent stopping in function. I will add that in this respect, the fact that the agent cannot be uninstalled without a specific code gives us higher stability than others because even a threat actor can't remove or disable the agent in order to conduct an attack against the network. It's a unique feature.

I would rate it a ten out of ten in terms of stability. It is great in terms of stability and agents working as long as you do your due diligence and you do not leave it there to run just like every other product. If you leave it there with no attendance, it is going to do what it does, but if you are in there, doing your due diligence and making sure things are set, it is great. Auto updates are something I know that was implemented. That has been super helpful, so if you are doing what you need to do, it is a ten out of ten.

You could install SentinelOne on your computer and if you do, there's the risk that your production machine could go down when SentinelOne came on. Stability is a gamble for SentinelOne. There's more chance of crashing your computer. And the only solution when that happens is to go and install it through safe mode.
