I'm a customer. I've used the solution both at work and in my personal life. However, I do not use it professionally anymore.

Professionally, we had Symantec for a number of years. We ended up dropping that here about a year and a half ago since, quite frankly, we couldn't get Symantec to answer our emails. We were basically told that we were told through a vendor that the size of my state agency that I work for was not big enough to warrant the attention of Symantec after they got purchased by Broadcom.

I do still use Symantec personally on my home devices. It's more of a retail product and no longer at the commercial level. And I do use the solution for mobile protection purposes.

I've used the mobile product on my phone, and it seems to be fine. This may be due to the fact that attackers do not go after phones as much as they would go after laptops.

I'd advise potential users to do the research and figure out which is the best option for them. What might work for me may not work for them. It may not have the features that they want. That said, the price point is good.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten for mobile. The PC option is a bit bloated.

My advice to others looking into implementing Symantec Endpoint Protection Mobile is that it makes more sense to just buy it directly from Symantec, so you can get direct support, rather than buying Symantec Endpoint Protection Mobile from a reseller, then being redirected to a partner whenever you need support because that's just silly.

Before there were issues, my rating for Symantec Endpoint Protection Mobile would be nine out of ten, but because of the current issues my company has been having with the solution, my rating for it is a six. It's been such a pain trying to get support for the issues, and that changed my whole perspective on Symantec Endpoint Protection Mobile.

My company is a customer of Symantec.

If anyone wants to go with Endpoint Protection or Advantage Endpoint Protection or EDR, he should make a proper POC. He should make that POC by himself, he should be in direct contact to get the data and bring the vendors for each product to stand up for their own product. The efficiency of the product, detection rate, etc., are all factors that should be considered.

I would rate this solution as seven out of ten.

I would recommend this product because, in today's workplace, where people are bringing their laptops home, it is important to have the ability to take control of them remotely.

I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.
