We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The front loader and the reporting features are the most valuable aspects of OpenText LoadRunner Professional.""It has features for recording. The best feature with Micro Focus LoadRunner Professional is that there is very little bottleneck or overhead issues. With LoadRunner, you can spawn 2000 contributions for one machine.""The most valuable feature depends on what we're doing at the time. In the past, the greatest feature was the ability to record and play back to produce a script. Another great feature is that we can monitor the system. They also support many protocols to perform load testing.""The initial setup and installation of the software were very easy and straightforward.""I think that analytics is very good and that the analytics features are very powerful.""LoadRunner is a very systematic tool for anyone to use. Even someone who is actually a first time user of LoadRunner can actually get a lot of benefit out of the tool.""The most valuable features of Micro Focus LoadRunner Professional are the separate module for scripting, execution analysis, and integration with a lot of new things pipeline areas. They keep updating their releases. Recently, they have released different versions, such as the professional and enterprise. They're coming up with new features which are good.""The reporting mechanism is a valuable feature that generates good reports."

"The solution is simple and useful.""The most valuable feature of this solution is reporting.""The most valuable aspect is that the IDE is simple and it's quick to complete the process."

"NeoLoad is best tool for testing in production without making many changes to the script or solution.""My company has a good experience with Tricentis NeoLoad, and what I like best about it is that it lets you generate loads from different geographies. The load generation agents getting placed on different geographies is a very good feature of the solution. I also like that you can scale up Tricentis NeoLoad very quickly. The general feedback on performance testing with Tricentis NeoLoad for all product lines within my company is good.""Tool for load testing and performance testing with good API support and good technical support. Tricentis NeoLoad is absolutely stable and scalable.""The most valuable feature of Tricentis NeoLoad for us has been its ability to easily monitor all the load generators and configure the dynamics and data rates. Additionally, we can monitor individual loads and data directly within NeoLoad without needing third-party tools.""The best feature of the solution is that we can utilize the Tosca scripts for NeoLoad execution.""The stability is okay.""Simple capturing of dynamic variables and simple scripting.""NeoLoad is actually really good, mainly because they have a world-class support service."

Cons
"The technical support of Micro Focus LoadRunner Professional could improve. I had an issue with the licensing and their response time is slow. They can improve on this in the future.""More guidance on the use of the Tru Client protocol which is used for Web interfaces.""LoadRunner Professional's parameter data could be improved.""The price of this solution should be cheaper.""The initial start-up of Micro Focus LoadRunner could be improved. When we add 20 or 30 scripts, the refresh is completed one by one. I would like to be able to select all the script at one time, so it can be completed in a single click, reducing the time required.""The debugging capability should be improved.""We are going to continue to use the product in the future, I recommend this product. However, those who are looking for only REST-based on the API, I would recommend some other tool because of the cost. There are others available on the market.""There is room for improvement of the pilot processing, the dump analysis, and forwarding results based on the dump analysis. We have a generator, root controller, different agents, and an analyzer, so all of these are very important when it comes to LoadRunner."

More OpenText LoadRunner Professional Cons →

"The reporting side of things is really complicated. It's difficult to get out exactly what you're looking for, there are almost too many options.""Technical support is slow and wastes a lot of time, so it needs to be improved.""There is no analytical dashboard."

More RadView WebLOAD Cons →

"While importing the scripts from backup it should not create the new variables because it has created some issues for us.""We would like NeoLoad to be able to support more protocols. Testing can also be a little tricky at times.""Tricentis NeoLoad crashes if an application contains more than 1,000 scripts.""LoadRunner supports multiple protocols, whereas NeoLoad supports only three protocols. With NeoLoad, we can go for the SAP technology, web-based HTTP, and Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). If I have to simulate .NET application-based traffic, I won't be able to do that. So, protocol support is a limitation for NeoLoad. It should support more protocols.""Connecting with the solution's technical support can be time-consuming. The turnaround time for a ticket raised is around 72 hours, which becomes an issue when working on a huge project in our company.""We would like to see the addition of one-to-one integrations with the Tricentis Tosca suite to this product, which would then cover the end-to-end needs of our customers who are looking for a single vendor solution.""Support wasn't able to solve a technical issue.""There were some features that were lacking in Tricentis NeoLoad, e.g. those were more into Citrix and other complicated protocols, which were supported easily by a competitor: Micro Focus LoadRunner. We also need to look into how it integrates with other Tricentis products, because Tricentis did not have a good performance testing tool until now."
