The most valuable feature is that we can use it as a proxy.
This solution offers categorization for YouTube and other specific applications from Facebook to WhatsApp, which can be controlled whether it's on mobile or PC.

The setup was very easy and straightforward.
Missing a real data leakage prevention solution.

They need to improve analytics so they report on more of the specifics of user activity.
In the next release, I would like to see the integration of VDI NSX with Cisco Umbrella.
It has happened in the past that Cisco Umbrella has denied us access to secure websites.
The reporting could be improved by way of the information that's displayed. For example, when you pull a report, it shows an internal employee going to many websites, but you can spin that right down by saying a lot of it is being cached.
I would like to see integration with SecurNX in the future.
This solution does not give us full, 360-degree protection.
Setup is not that difficult, but it really requires proper technical training.
The GUI is not user-friendly, so it needs to improve or be simplified.
The one thing I don't like about Cisco is that they are very much fragmented in terms of providing the complete solution. They keep on breaking their different feature sets into different boxes.
If a user wants to use it for other devices like mobile or smartphones, this product isn't so reliable.
The licensing model needs to be more flexible.
They need a better graphical interface, and they need a better ISE mechanism.
Technical support needs to be improved because they take a very long time and there is no communication or notification.
The FTD 21 model's Firepower Threat Defense does not have the multi-instance feature for the virtualization with the physical equipment.
The solution is not very compatible with other products.
