Pros
Has good RAM capacity for the power I needCylance is not a signature-based protection solution and instead works proactively using AI and ML models to patrol for malicious behavior. Two or three years ago when the WannaCry virus struck, the people that were on Cylance were the ones that weren't affected. It is a bit early in our evaluation process to give proper feedback, although so far, the overall feedback is good. The most valuable feature is the ability to respond to zero-day and unknown threats. The Application Guard and ByteGuard are useful features. The solution is extremely scalable. It's got the hybrid functionality, it's got the system functionality and cloud functionality as well.On the management side, we liked the way it displays things.

It is excellent endpoint protection for mobiles that does everything it says it will. The most valuable features of the solution include the endpoint navigation protection, the protection related to the EMS service, as well as the control and the cloud integration capabilities. The feature we found most valuable is the AI functionality for maintaining endpoint security. This is very powerful.Valuable features include good scanning, very light footprint and management console that the client can access and (just as important) in which I can see status of groups of computers (I am a consultant, IT role).

Cons
It should have better support for Windows and Mac.Too many false positives are reported.I would like to see them fix the alerting system so that the endpoint reporting is a bit more streamlined. The detection component is something that they have to work on.Our customers would like to see more automation with respect to how threats are handled once they have been detected. The OPTICS component could be made more user-friendly with respect to giving people more information.I would say one thing that they might need to bring in is protection for mobile devices. It should provide more details about the events that they have detected.

It would be nice if it had a feature for automatically generating reports on the client end for device status, security status and backup information. There needs to be more advanced analytics. It would make it a more powerful antivirus solution within the marketplace. We need to know more details about how the virus interacted with the computer. The console spins up relatively slowly, and some of the configuration items are obscure (e.g., reporting back one time per day is a default setting) and need to be tweaked.

Pricing and Cost Advice
We pay for the number of endpoints we have and that is about it. On a monthly basis, the licensing cost is $55 per user. The monthly fee is $55 USD per user.I think that the price we are paying is good for what it is.We would just add more if there are new users, but right now you just need one license for per user. Our licensing cost for the solution is around $4,000 for six months. There are no costs in addition to the standard licensing fees.

If you purchase for clients, then you are the managing billing entity. It's better to either get a monthly subscription check from your clients, or to prepay for the year (so as to not keep cash in reserve to pay the bill each month) IMHO.
