We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature of Matillion ETL is its ease of use. If you have had some experience with other solutions, such as Snowflake, the use of this solution will be simple.""The simplicity of this tool is nice. It has a good graphical user interface. You can also do a lot of generic stuff in the tool. If there is good connectivity to a cloud database, such as Snowflake, and you can have a lot of Snowflake functionality in the tool.""It can scale to a great extent. It can handle the load that we are putting on it, which is about 5TBs.""The tool's middle-dimensional structure significantly simplifies obtaining the right data at the appropriate level. This feature makes deploying our applications easier since we utilize a single source without publishing data from various sources.""Matillion ETL is one hundred percent stable.""It takes less than five minutes to set up and delivers results. It is much quicker than traditional ETL technologies.""The most valuable feature of Matillion ETL is the UI experience in which you can drag and drop most of the transformation.""It's highly scalable. It takes upon itself the Redshift scalability, so it's very good."

"There's hardware, software and application integration, providing hosting flexibility.""I like the tool's scalability.""It's easy to construct new interfaces like apps and client portals.""The solution is scalable.""The connectivity that the tool provides, along with the functionalities needed for our company's business, are some of the beneficial aspects of the product.""Our use case is for integration factory for SAP. Cons
"It can have multi-environment support. We should be able to deploy it in different environments. Its integration with SAP connection is not so nice, which should be improved. It can also support an on-prem database.""I am looking forward to seeing the expansion of the source range for their data loader product.""Unlike Snowflake which automatically takes care of upgrading to the latest version and includes additional features, with Matillion ETL we need to do this ourselves.""The current version is a bit more limited because it's on a virtual machine, and everything executes on that one virtual machine.""The product must enhance its near-real-time data capture feature.""It needs integration with more data sources.""In the next release, we would like to have connections to more databases.""When using the SQL loader type there were not a lot of pre-processing features for the data. For example, if there is a table with twenty columns, but we only want to load ten columns. In that case, we can use a security script to select the specific columns needed. However, if we want to perform extensive pre-processing of the data, I faced some challenges with Matillion ETL. I did not encounter many challenges, but my overall experience is limited as I only have three years of experience."

"It is difficult to maintain.""The product's stability is an area of concern where improvements are required.""Rules engine processes and BPM processes should be improved.""The solution's release management feature could be better.""I am not satisfied with the solution because it takes too much effort to migrate and add new information. The migration could be easier.""webMethods.io Integration's installation is complex. It should also improve integration and connectors.""The products, at the moment, are new and there should perhaps be support for the older version of the protocols."
