We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
The most valuable features are reporting and where we have the ability to report back and provide information when an item is quarantined or not quarantined. The most valuable features are the vulnerability protection and virtual patching. From a technology point of view, it is very simple to install, it's not heavy on the endpoint in terms of the amount of processing cycles. It is simple to deploy and the interfaces are easy. You don't need to be a scientist to operate it.Scalable and stable. It's a good solution, and they have something called Suite incorporating many, many engines like encryption, GLB, anti-virus.This solution protects us from virus attacks before they affect the organization. The product offers almost all of the features the client expects from such a solution.I would emphasize the ease of use and the quality of operations. Trend Micro is quite stable.

The initial setup was straightforward and we didn't have any problem with it.In terms of valuable features, I would say its intrusion prevention. Each and every IP connecting to the server gets scanned so we know everyone who is accessing our server and we can block whichever IP's do not belong to us at the firewall. The most valuable feature is the virtual patching. The vulnerability scanning reduces false positives by quite a bit.The most valuable features are web security, email filtering, and content filtering. It has improved functions by bringing us complete security on our clients' virtual environment. It has a perfect SaaS which integrates with AWS, offering flexibility to deploy quickly and easily in the cloud.Deep Security enables us to bridge the gap between patching windows using the Virtual Patching feature. This allows us to make sure full patching is tested properly in our testing environments before rollout.

Cons
The CPU usage when scanning is too high and we have run into bottlenecks were it consumes a lot of CPU time. The reports are not eye-catching from the customer's point of view, which is something that should be improved.I think the one place where we like where they lacking is in a unified style dashboard.Could channel video more efficiently,We cover many things, but there is something called ATP, advanced threat prevention. I think they need to invest in this technology. The alert, or warning function, needs to be improved.Product performance needs improvement. Customers face the same performance issues on the endpoint of the product. We need improvement on that side.Technical support is very very slow. There is no French support. Only English. The experts are in England, the United States, or Japan, I don't know where. So the support is really lacking.

The situation with the currency in Turkey makes this solution a little bit on the expensive side, and if it were lowered then it would be more competitive. As for what could be improved, I think it should come with an XDR facility without any extra cost. They're always releasing new features, but we need to pay extra for them. When implementing this solution, sometimes we have challenges with SQL migration. The client can show as offline sometimes, and that becomes a bit difficult for troubleshooting. We end up basically redeploying the client. This is something that could be improved in the future. The support for email protection can be improved. It needs better global visibility of the virtual environment.I would like them to add EDR features, moving away from traditional signature-based anti-malware.The default reports provided don't provide much insight.

Pricing and Cost Advice
It's well priced at a yearly rate. The price itself depends on whether the solution is full suite, half suite, or some other engine. It's different according to the consumer's requests.I think that this product is expensive. On a yearly basis, it's about $50,000. There are no costs in addition to the standard licensing fees.Pricing and licensing are competitive with other solutions on the market.

Some of our customers complain about the cost of this solution. The cost is approximately six thousand Qatari Riyal ($1650 USD) per user.Purchasing this solution through the AWS Marketplace was secure and quick. AWS has good prices for a good product. The training needs improvement. It is expensive (classroom training), and it is often hard to find answers by yourself using the documentation. The AWS licensing model is scalable and easy to use, but could do with tiered discounts. I am not sure how well this model will scale when we start to use Auto Scaling with AWS resources. We are an original partner with AWS, so a couple of customers chose to directly take it from AWS Marketplace. A couple of customers will want us to take care of the billing. So, it's a mixed type of reaction that we receive from the customer. The price is reasonably good as compared to other products into the market.Purchasing on the AWS Marketplace is like shopping on Amazon Prime.
