Our return on investment comes from the fact that there is less downtime for people that do get malware and other such problems. That is something that can be quantified.

Agent overhead on the systems has been lowered slightly. We haven't had any tickets coming in, saying, "Oh no, CrowdStrike is messing up my PC. Come fix it." We had this with Carbon Black Protection. It has cut down on the number of support requests for other teams. 

I can't even talk about performance overhead, which is good. Our Citrix team hasn't noticed any extra increases in their Citrix workloads, as far as Citrix Server usage overhead, because we also deploy the CrowdStrike agent virtually. It has not slowed down any of the clinical applications, which was a huge win. If it had slowed down any of our clinical applications, especially the more time-sensitive ones, then it would have been a no-go. It would have been a red flag, "You're out the door," and it did not slow any of them down.

We saw ROI by removing Carbon Black Protection, which costs way more than CrowdStrike costs us. Right there, we already earned back and saved money by removing that solution. Turning off Carbon Black Protection and Microsoft SCEP AV were a huge amount of system overhead saved. Easily coordinating between multiple different pieces of software and gathering that information quickly was another time save. 

I am saving at least an hour or two a day by not having to go into Carbon Black Protection to figure out some sort of strange whitelisting issue.

CrowdStrike Falcon offers a great value. I'm the smallest kind of customer they had. It's a big step up. I had a more robust subscription, but I found I didn't use any of it ever, so I just cut back to the same thing that I had to begin with. You hardly notice any difference.

The amount of compute resourcing used on a machine has been significantly less than the previous produce. The biggest ROI is the operational cost reduction. We would have a project manager spend three months to roll out an upgrade of a very heavyweight, security endpoint client. At the end of the day, this could cause a one to two percent error rate where machines would have an issue, then we would need to have a tech spend a lot of time on correcting this versus having automatic updates now that take care of themselves.

You are looking at saving six to seven months of a person's time, collectively, which would have been spent on just doing this one function alone.

I rate CrowdStrike Falcon 10 out of 10 for ROI.

CrowdStrike Falcon enables us to save on resources which in turn provides a 20 percent return on investment.

We have witnessed an ROI. It's been the first line of defense for us. It has saved us on costs. However, those are hard to quantify as we haven't faced a breach.

We have seen ROI in that our team is freed up to work on things that are more important.

The 10 hours a week that we are freeing up from having to manage and monitor our AV solution has really allowed us to focus on other areas of the business. This has been a huge return on investment.

We did our homework in advance for cost or other things to calculate ROI. The solution met our expectations so ROI is rated a seven out of ten. 

CrowdStrike Falcon has demonstrably provided a positive return on investment. We've already encountered two specific instances where, without CrowdStrike, the company would have faced millions in damages. In one case, we would have likely lost our entire SAP system.

It is protecting our environment, so it is worth the cost.

It has definitely minimized resources. When everything was on-prem, there was a lot more work maintaining it. One of the big value tickets: I don't have lists of hundreds of exceptions for certain applications that I have to maintain, add, delete, and move. The very nature of the product has lessened my workload considerably.

We've seen an ROI in terms of time saved. It's probably around 5 percent. 

In the past, we have around four to five engineers managing our endpoint - we have now reduced this to two engineers, which has cut costs. We've also been able to cut the time needed to find the threats and their root causes from up to six hours a day to just half an hour. I would rate our ROI as five out of five.

Our ROI has been high compared to what we had with McAfee. We spend about two hours a month for its care and feeding, which is really low maintenance. We previously spent two to three times that amount of time managing our McAfee environment.

I have seen a good return on investment.

We have absolutely seen ROI, e.g., the reduction in man-hours for resolving incidents. The speed of the platform has drastically reduced time consumed, affording more time for an operator to act when resolving problems.

We receive good ROI when using this solution. I would rate it a four out of five. CrowdStrike offers a breach warranty which greatly reduces risk for customers. 

The return on investment is evident in the enhanced security posture achieved through continuous monitoring and immediate isolation of compromised machines. This proactive approach not only mitigates risk but also provides significant peace of mind for our team, alleviating concerns and optimizing their performance.

That's a difficult question to answer because CrowdStrike Falcon was implemented to replace a previous solution. While it was cheaper than the previous solution, the only initial return on investment was cost savings, as we have not yet developed key performance indicators to measure the security benefits of using CrowdStrike Falcon.

The effectiveness of a solution is not always easily measurable by simply avoiding a hack on a given day. Instead, it often requires analyzing reporting data to determine its environmental impact. This data must then be used to calculate the return on investment and compare it to the cost of ownership. In my experience, the only clear return on investment has been in the initial deployment of the solution. The solution's price has typically been lower than that of previous solutions.

Because we are information security, we come with a price tag, unfortunately. When we look at it as a whole, we are able to sleep at night, we have a good solution and it is protecting us from the zero-days and the latest malware. I don't know what you put the cost of breach prevention at.  We feel we are using a product that is at the top of the industry. We are doing as much as we can to protect our organization, so there is the return on investment that way.

We don't need to maintain onsite servers and deep end user updates with the new vulnerabilities. Considering the required server hardware and maintenance workload, the ROI will be achieved in a year or one and a half years.

This is not a tool you buy because it gives a return on investment. It's a tool you buy because the cost of not having it is far greater than the cost of having it if you have a problem.

I have not seen a return on investment from using CrowdStrike Falcon, but others in my company have. 

There's not really an ROI. The ROI is that we haven't been hit by ransomware.

The return on investment for CrowdStrike Falcon is good.

As the solution is a preventative measure, it's hard to say exactly what the ROI is. 

We haven't had any outages based on malware or ransomware. I can't put numbers to it, but not having that kind of an outbreak definitely has an ROI attached to it.

The solution has helped to increase staff productivity by probably 25 percent.

We have seen ROI.

CrowdStrike has helped us in terms of manpower and cost savings. I work with a team of less than 10 people, and I have worked in other organizations where I used to handle more than 20 to 25 people for the same things.

It helps to manage a lot of threats with pretty less manpower and in a graceful way.
