Before Microsoft products, we worked with other vendors like AWS for scalable storage solutions. The choice between AWS and Microsoft Azure largely depends on the client's existing setup – for instance, if they were using AWS before, we often stuck with that. However, in cases where object storage was a priority, we found Microsoft Azure's Blob Storage to be a fitting solution. It is all about adapting to the client's needs and the specifics of their setup.

We have previously used different solutions. We switched to Microsoft Azure Object Storage because most of our landscape is on Azure, and it's easier to have everything in one place than using a different vendor. So, it's convenient for us.

We initially started our journey on KNIME and we run KNIME side by side, so data scientists can have the ability to do their models either in Lime or, if they choose to, they can also do that in Azure.

This is the first time we use a cloud backup. Before that, we were using only an on-premise backup, in our own backup storage. In fact, we were using Veeam Backup & Replication software and recovery software available for on-premises setups. We decided to move to the cloud, which is why we began to implement Azure.

We didn't previously use another solution before implementing Object Storage. Previously we had everything in-house. Now everything is on the public cloud.
