Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The interface, design, and accessible user manuals to help get started using the solution are valuable features in Bizagi.""Process management is easy with Bizagi; validating processes and assigning resources is straightforward.""The ability to write our own code inside each activity is beneficial. Sometimes we need to create functionality that doesn't come out of the box, and this allows us to do that.""I like the ease of use and the fact that you can download and use their free version, which is unlimited. However, while it's unlimited use, some features aren't available.""The natural notation is the best feature of Bizagi because it makes it compatible with other products.""I like that Bizagi is fully compatible with BPMN 2.0. It also eases the way in which we work with BPMN 2.0 itself, which is a comprehensive and rather complex notation standard.""Very user friendly and a professional solution.""It can be useful as a tool to improve your communications and the control of your processes. For example, when you have to explain a process to seven or eight stakeholders who think differently as well as have different experiences in different functional departments, it is not easy. Sometimes you are using a lot of technical terms, and other times, you are dealing with management terminology. The visual representation helps you create a better alignment and understanding for different roles and stakeholders of your workforce."

"It makes communication easier due to transparency on processes.""Processes become clearer, easier to understand, and easier to spot in development areas."

"It helps clients find information when they need to know how to do their jobs effectively.""It tends to get more engagement from people across the business."

Cons
"The product used to have a simulation feature, which I had used quite often. However, it's since been discontinued. It might have originally been a paid feature. It would be nice if they could bring it back and offer it for free.""It is difficult to drive ROI on types of processes involving complex business rules.""The on-premise software has some bugs.""For the small business, this is very bad because it is still fragmented. The licensing policy should be more flexible and small company oriented. In micro-small companies, there should only be one or two. That's not the problem. Maybe it is too flexible, there are so many pieces that you need to put together. When you have a small business, it can be a little complicated, not so easy.""The product must make automation easier.""Bizagi needs a way to define categories such as process groups like the APQC framework, PCF, and handle the processes within it.""Bizagi has been aggressively adding features to maintain its market-leading position, however, in some cases, this has impacted the stability of certain product builds.""Also, the tool sometimes feels not so mature when we find random deploy errors from testing to production environment."

More Bizagi Cons →

"There is definitely a need to produce models in XML. There is already something available, but it seems that transferring between the different modelling tools is difficult."

More QPR ProcessDesigner Cons →

"This product could probably do with less features rather than more. It is overly complicated. In recent releases, it has become harder to use."
