It would be useful, for my purposes, to be able to run a meeting like a webinar where the solution doesn't show all of the people on the actual call. It would be great if it had the flexibility to allow people to "hide" themselves from the meeting, or to give the person running the meeting the capability of choosing who could be seen, or not.How they have the gallery aligned when someone is sharing a screen isn't ideal right now. If there were more options on how to arrange it, would be ideal.They need to improve the background feature, to be able to set a background without interfering with the current background.The privacy settings need to be more apparent, otherwise anyone can wander into meeting rooms and disrupt them.Occasional system overload that requires a restart.The time limitations for the free version should be increased from 40 minutes.The security needs to be improved.Password requirement for every meeting.

We have an account but we are also using the free version.The price is $149 USD yearly.I have been using the free version of Zoom.The cost of Zoom has led me to use WeChat, instead.Zoom is available with an open license that can support meetings of up to 40 minutes.In the basic version, there is a 40-minute time limit on group meetings.There is a 40-minute time limit when you use the basic version, which is free.Zoom is a very cheaply priced video conferencing solution, and using this product has saved our business a lot of expense.

If you're looking for just a basic meeting tool, Zoom will do just fine. You can also share your screen as well as choose the option to share presentations ( in your case, its the Digital manual).
Cisco Webex is more for making video calls but some use it for training as well due to the fact that it was already used but I have experienced some latency (lag) with it. Anyone in the group viewing may correct me on this one.
In terms of popularity, its Zoom and webex which are the most popular tools
Blackboard and Adobe connect are more considered the virtual classroom technologies for teaching. They have many advanced features offering multi-classroom features which encourage students to engage differently.
They are far less popular than zoom or webex.

According to your requirements, I would encourage you to go towards Zoom. You can start by the free version and upgrade to the pro version depending on your requirements

Also, it works seamlessly on laptop, IOS and Android devices
