We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.

Pros
"Blue Prism Cloud is a stable solution.""The platform is user-friendly and easy to learn in a low-code environment.""This solution comes with a lot of good features.""The most valuable feature is security.""Ability to see the blueprint of the design executed alongside the actual process.""We can save on staff costs by automating processes.""It is an easily scalable solution.""It's easy to use, the interface, the the the the queries is which we use. It's user friendly."

"It's a pretty robust product.""The automation process is the most valuable feature.""We have seen Workfusion improve on accuracy and compliance... With the Workfusion model, we reduce human error and the need for further QC. We switch more to a QA process where we're testing whether the model is effective.""The Robotic Desktop Automation Express component allows us to do rapid development outside the normal, time-consuming processes.""The solution is stable, we have not had any glitches or problems.""WorkFusion's SAP integrations are really good.""The tool itself is easy. I started using it without really having any coding experience... After just a few clicks, it was doing reconciliations for me.""The Control Tower enables us to create and use workflows. It helps us run processes. There are a lot of small features, but the Control Tower is a very good feature, wherein we can create bots and schedule them as well as create different instances of them to run in different regions."

Cons
"Selecting the right business processes that are stable enough to automate can be challenging.""The AI part is currently missing in Blue Prism Studio... It would be good if the AI part is included in Blue Prism Studio, which can make it much more efficient and good to work.""If Blue Prism could integrate into Azure SQL because it's essentially an on-prem code, on infrastructure as a service. So, Blue Prism has moved the infrastructure into the cloud, but they haven't necessarily moved the application into cloud-native.""I would like to see a web-based control room, rather than the one that is in-built with the desktop version.""Improvement should be per customer requirements.""The vendor does not make their pricing clear when you are searching for it, which is something that needs to be improved.""The tool’s customer support should improve. There were instances where I tried to call them up and was put on hold. However, they do revert back through emails once a ticket has been issued. They should be quick with their responses on calls.""We have limited integrations in place, and my objective is to integrate Sentinel. However, there are constraints as some individuals have only one or two options for SIM integration solutions. Given the urgency of quick resolutions in today's landscape, prevention and detection are crucial. While these measures provide significant security, it's equally important to focus on response and recovery. In the case of a ransomware attack, it's not enough to solely prevent and detect. Once detection is in place, a response model should be implemented to automate the process and minimize the time required for tasks, such as creating investigation reports. In the past, it would take approximately seven to eight days to create an investigation report for a specific attack, including writing a case study. This process can be streamlined and improved through the automation of contextual investigation reports. By saving base templates and content, including screenshots and attack details, automation can be achieved. We are currently working on integrating Microsoft WAF and Excel for this purpose, but having a built-in tool would be ideal."

"The product could do more to expand its 'codeless' coding options by adding drag-and-drop assistance in building bots for non-technical users.""I would like it if they provided a more detailed roadmap in terms of where they are going with the product. As we are trying to make decisions about the things that we are going to do to try to augment our capabilities, we could know whether they are thinking about the same things or not.""We have executed our robots thousands of times in our enterprise environment. However, in an enterprise environment, WorkFusion has performance problems. It is slow in production.""Because the data is coming from offline, paper-based invoices and sometimes from Excel, data accuracy is the main challenge... Sometimes, WorkFusion has lacked the functionality for extracting the right information from the invoices and we have had to manually correct the format.""One of the issues that we are facing here in China, is that we cannot access the material for training because it is on YouTube. In China, we do not have access to YouTube.""I would like WorkFusion to improve the automation rate when evaluating unstructured text.""Machine learning models for document-heavy processes have room for improvement because they require significant effort to train and update.""It is complex for enterprise implementation. The solution needs a needs minimum, of 20-22 servers. It's no small task. This is not a straightforward setup. It's a large undertaking and there are many moving parts."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Pricing can be negotiated in situations where there will be heavy usage."
  • "The licensing structure is complex and the minimum contract length is three years."
  • "We pay about $15,000 per quarter in licensing costs. We don't have to pay for any other extra costs. There isn't, for example, an extra cost for technical support. We just pay the licensing."
  • "There are many RPA solutions available from different vendors and the pricing for Blue Prism is competitive."
  • "Annual licensing costs were somewhere between $5,000 - $10,000 for the development tool. For the control tower, I think fees were about $50,000 annually."
  • "This solution comes at a medium to high price point. They need to work on their pricing to enable smaller enterprises to get the benefit of using the product."
  • "When compared with UiPath, I believe it will be difficult for Blue Prism to maintain its market share."
  • "Blue Prism comes at a higher price point compared to other solutions on the market."

  • "Find it online."
  • "They have a very expensive license compared to any other automation tool. For instance, at $50,000 - $60,000, you can bring in an Automation Anywhere solution. For this solution, you need at least $250,000 to get something going."
  • "It is not the most expensive solution, but it is also not the cheapest."
  • "I can't speak to pricing. It's a contract signed by upper management."
  • "We are on an annual contract to use the solution."
  • "My client is using RPA Express, which is available for them to use free of charge."
  • "One upgrade took a year to do, from the first server being built to the last bot being migrated. This was because we had to migrate all our existing bots. This is the same process and time frame that we are expecting towards the upcoming upgrade. I will end up spending half a million dollars to do an upgrade."
  • "The solution was not the cheapest, but it was also not the most expensive. Workfusion was very open to negotiating pricing and to working within the objectives of our firm."
