We performed a comparison between Microsoft Power Automate and WorkFusion based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable features are that it is low-code and simple."
"I like Power Automate because it is very easy to use for users who don't have IT knowledge."
"The email routing, consolidation of the reports, and management features are strong."
"The initial setup is pretty straightforward."
"We have a good overview of our processes now thanks to Power Automate."
"The solution is very easy to use. It's a code three platform that works very easily with documents to create custom automations."
"The most valuable feature is how much you can do with this solution."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to integrate across multiple systems."
"The most valuable feature is that it is easy to use."
"It takes care of simple tasks so users can focus more on exceptions than on regular use cases. They only focus on orders where they need to handle an exception, some information was not given, or there is an issue that they had to focus on. The rest of it goes straight through without human touch. We want to see our employees as engineers, wherein they think and solve problems, not necessarily have to do repetitive tasks. I think WorkFusion helps with avoiding repetitive tasks."
"If you compare it to its competitors in the market, it is more Java-native."
"The dashboard is the solution's most valuable feature. When clients want to look at the data it's very easy for them to do so. The dashboard for the IT manager is very useful if there are issues and to create and follow processes."
"This solution has great document recognition capabilities."
"The tool itself is easy. I started using it without really having any coding experience... After just a few clicks, it was doing reconciliations for me."
"In our opinion this group are the leaders in providing RPA solutions."
"We have been very pleased with the speed and decisiveness of WorkFusion, which is able to quickly provide a disposition note or escalate to a human for additional review."
"These products have some limitations, such as the need to build some custom controls in PCF or use the JSON format."
"We expect Microsoft Power Automate to work like any other RPA software, but at present, it is fairly lax, especially in the RPA space. We have a very limited set of use cases today for Microsoft Power Automate. Microsoft should make it a full-featured RPA product like other solutions that we use, such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and UiPath. This is predominantly the area that they need to improve on. Microsoft Power Automate is quite complex to use as well, especially if you want to do advanced workflows or advanced automation. The regular simple workflows are quite easy and straightforward, but the moment you want to do something complex, it is almost impossible for one of our employees to work on it."
"It would be great if it was able to integrate more with various other platforms. It would make development easier."
"When comparing with Automation Anywhere, there are a couple of things that this product doesn't have. One of the major things is the key management system. It would be great if they improve this. Its documentation can also be improved."
"The solution's licensing model is very complex and not straightforward."
"It is mostly integrated with the Microsoft environment. Unlike UiPath, we cannot really use external tools with Microsoft Power Automate. There should be a possibility to integrate it with external tools or systems."
"WinAutomation is scalable to a certain extent. I would rate it seven for the scalability, which could be better. Softomotive is better scalable than WinAutomation in this regard."
"They've already improved it, but I guess a testing suite would be nice to be able to test your automations in real time."
"The most common issue we have is with the OCR, but that also depends on the quality of the documents your scanning. Still, I would say the OCR is comparable to other solutions. I wouldn't say it's better or worse than other OCR engines."
"Machine learning models for document-heavy processes have room for improvement because they require significant effort to train and update."
"So far, we have developed only one automation using machine learning. The results were less than optimal. Part of this could be because of the use case that was selected. Overall, our experience was suboptimal. WorkFusion was an outstanding partner in terms of providing their experts for free to help us on that particular use case, but we still have a lot of things to figure out in terms of how to use its machine learning capability."
"The solution is not user-friendly, this is something they should improve."
"There is enhanced functionality I would like to see, things that would further enhance the user experience, deliver greater efficiencies, and further mitigate risk."
"It should integrate with more ERP solutions like SAP. It doesn't currently have that ability."
"Where it can be improved is the speed. I built two bots, one with WorkFusion and the same thing with Python. My feeling was that the speed at which Python did things, how fast it did them, was quite cool. It was faster."
"We are having some database issues, but we are addressing them."
