We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature of MSP360 Backup is its reliability.""MSP360 Backup's most valuable feature is its backup interface.""The most valuable feature for me is that I can see what has has been successfully backed up and what not. I do not mean the file or folder view, because that's problematic with GDPR, but I mean which machines have successfully backed up. It's very valuable because you don't have to check the machines. The second feature is that you can change backup settings in the portal.""The UI is pretty good. It's very simple. That is one thing that we like about this. It's very user-friendly.""I was mainly concerned with cloud backups, OneDrive backups, consumer OneDrive, business OneDrive, Google backups, and SharePoint backups. The solution did a good job of the backup.""The solution is easy to access and handles things efficiently.""One massive advantage of this solution, as compared to more enterprise products, is that no firewall changes are needed on the client's premises. For the product to back up from the client's premise to the cloud, it just needs port 8 and port 443, which are anyway always open. This was one of the things that made us decide to go with the product. It is very difficult to justify a firewall change for a small client who doesn't even know what a firewall is and how to maintain a firewall, or doesn't have anybody maintaining their firewall. You then have to maintain the firewall. MSP360 Backup takes away firewall change requirements, VPNs, or channels that are needed for the backup.""Provides connectivity to a lot of different cloud storage solutions."

"It allows us to easily take a Snapshot and use it with any backup tools. We can also take Snapshots on the application side. We can also take Snapshots on the application side. If we want to restore an SAP or an Oracle machine, a normal Snapshot won't do it, but we can do so with SnapCenter.""The product’s most valuable feature is cloning.""It's integrated with VMware vCenter. You can also see the backups there and you can do a restore completely out of vCenter.""The most valuable feature is the RBAC, the Role-Based Access Control. In our managed service, we can have different layers of security.""The most valuable feature is that it's centralized. In the old SnapManager days, we had software for each server. Now, with a centralized system, we're able to manage all systems remotely, and all agents remotely, and update them remotely. That's a huge benefit for us.""I like the instant backups and recovery feature that SnapCenter provides within NetApp storage systems.""The Exchange plugin is the most valuable because we have a lot of customers that use SnapManager Exchange and have to migrate to SnapCenter.""It has greatly improved our DR activity."

Cons
"Maybe implement an easier interface for basic users. For example, a set-up wizard with all the commonly used features as default.""The solution's pricing is very high.""The Linux GUI leaves a lot to be desired. It lacks many of the features of the Windows version and is buggy, but it is still usable.""The interface feels like it is targeted for end users who typically are looking for an all-in-one integrated push button solution. It would be better if the interface had a beginner mode and an expert mode.""Using the solution incurs additional charges for the device storage and backup which are not included in the service.""We could basically use just a more concise visual dashboard reporting on the status of the various machines.""As for what can be improved, some reports could be simplified so that you know how much backup you have done and what your backup details are. That report is available but it is very tough to get. I would like to know "today I have just uploaded 35 MB, tomorrow I have loaded 10 MB so my trend of backup is increasing."""The main improvement is that it should have GDPR compliance. That's the problematic point. They say they are GDPR compliant, but they are not."

More MSP360 Backup Cons →

"I want to see a few more features add that will help our team in managing solution better.""Plugins should be developed in shorter times. Performance generally could be a little bit faster.""The UI, the User Interface, needs to be improved. It's not as clean or modern as it could be.""The DBAs are comparing it to SMO but it doesn't have a lot of the functionalities that SMO has.""It needs to support vSphere 6.7.""The replication feature needs improvement in future releases.""Since the solution's initial setup is complex, it should make training documents available in the public space.""I have an issue with SnapCenter because sometimes a VM cannot be backed up... The way SnapCenter works is that it makes a backup of all the VMs and then it removes all the old backups. If one VM cannot be backed up for some reason, it has already created a new backup for all the VMs but it cannot remove the old backups. It ends up creating so many backups in VMware and it will cause a performance problem if the condition is not fixed."
