"With this product, we been able to bring together HR, IT, and lifecycle management. It is very helpful for managing the Joiner/Mover/Leaver process. We also use it for compliance on all the audits which are around.""One Identity Manager offers several features that I found advantageous compared to other tools.""The most valuable feature for me is the built-in security, which is the best that I have seen.""One of the valuable features is that it is relatively organized. I definitely appreciate that aspect. It is also relatively simple to use with a very easy flow to the GUI. The user interface is really top-notch.""At the time of the onboarding, this is solution that we have interfacing with HR. On the same day an employee is hired, an account is created and available for the manager when the end user arrives. The opposite is true. The moment employment is terminated, the same day everything is disabled, then later deleted.""This is almost a complete solution for us.""The best feature is that it's customizable. For example, we can create any kind of product or custom service within an IT shop and customize it the way our customers need it. For the customers, it's the best. They are happy with it.""It is easy to use and handle."

Cons
"Hitachi ID Privileged Access Manager is cumbersome and it does not operate by itself and relies on other solutions. Overall the way you configure things is a bit awkward compared to other solutions, such as Cyberark and Thycotic. The interface could be more intuitive, some features I expected to be easily accessible I had to search around for them. There needs to be more centralization."

More Hitachi ID Privileged Access Manager [EOL] Cons →

"In the update processes for hotfixes need improvement.""Sometimes, when we implement One Identity in the organization, customization has to happen. You cannot skip the customization. You cannot just implement the One Identity model and go ahead with it. However, whenever we make any customizations, the logic of the customization can interfere with the existing logging of One Identity. All such things have to be a bit clear. They have to be well documented. One Identity should provide information about how these things work.""The tool to develop the web portal needs improvement.""The initial setup was complex.""Some internal structures are in place because of already depreciated functions back from the time when the solution was used for software deployment and as a help desk.""We are trying to get rid stability issues from the legacy version. We are now implementing version 8.2, which is so much better than version 6.""It is a very powerful solution, but when it comes to doing some complex parameterization or authorization, we end up coding. Comparatively, CA solutions require less coding. It is more powerful than the CA solutions, but you end up with coding in VB.Net or C#. Complex parameterization could be better from their side.""I would like to integrate automated testing with One Identity, and it would be great to have some support from the vendor on here."

  • "We are paying for premium support, which is expensive. However, we do receive very good, fast support."
