Pros
"Processes become clearer, easier to understand, and easier to spot in development areas.""It makes communication easier due to transparency on processes."

"The features I find most valuable are ease of use and the Collaboration Hub.""The collaboration hub, which helps us in terms of being able to communicate with our customers, brings everybody into the tool and close to the process, allowing them to comment and to implement their own processes.""Process Manager is really helpful in building process maps. Creating them is really easy; the program is user-friendly.""I use SAP Signavio Process Manager to model processes to the former operating model.""It's easy and fast. It's very quick to work with process teams in terms of improving processes. You just have to send them a URL and to have a process in front of them. I don't use all of the possibilities we have in Signavio. This has made it easier for people to adopt, because when we scrambled the process team together and started a process of improvement, it improved their process. They are much more involved than they had been earlier, and they can also use Signavio to make smaller improvements in the process for themselves. There are many more interactions between the process teams and Signavio than in our previous solution, where you had to hire in a professional process modeler. It's been a great improvement.""The Signavio tool is very easy to use and it is one of the reasons why I like it.""The most valuable feature for me is usability.""This product has helped us to work within standards for process planning."

Cons
"There is definitely a need to produce models in XML. There is already something available, but it seems that transferring between the different modelling tools is difficult."

More QPR ProcessDesigner Cons →

"If you're going to use the tool the way I'm using it, which is to work with businesses and capture what they're thinking, it would be helpful to be able to insert other objects onto a diagram.""The user administration, the user-group administration, and the license models need improvement.""I would like to be able to link a single word within a textual description directly to the glossary.""I think the biggest selling point that Signavio talks about is its collaborative aspect. However, there's still a lot more improvement in terms of what they can do, how they receive comments, address comments, whether they actually provide feedback, etc. There is still a little bit more improvement to be made on those areas.""There could be something more on the reporting side of it for the processes you have captured or processes that might be work in progress to see where to target your effort because you don't always have lots of resources to spare""There is room for improvement in the reporting function. At the moment, for example, while it is possible to report on how many users you had in the last month, you can't use it to tell you how many users you had from the first week to the second week. This is really a drawback because when you have an activity to promote Signavio or BPI, it would be good to be able to measure how many people you had in the system.""The user management functionality in Process Manager is not as user friendly as the one in the Collaboration Hub.""There is a need for more varied access packages. The access packages that I have used are not cheap enough. They also provide a complete set of tools that are not always used. Sometimes, you need more segregated things, e.g., Signavio includes functionality for a company that has not yet matured. Since there are no basic packages, the company must pay for a package that is not fully used. Typically, process management is started in a company of a certain maturity."
