We use Fortinet FortiGate Cloud as a firewall to connect safely to the internet.

The IPS and firewall function is valuable in Fortinet FortiGate Cloud.

We have found that the antivirus functions are very bad in Fortinet FortiGate Cloud and we don't use the antivirus anymore. Additionally, the FortiADC has bad quality.

The solution could improve by having a Russian interface.

I have been using Fortinet FortiGate Cloud for approximately 10 years.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is a stable solution.

I have found Fortinet FortiGate Cloud to be scalable.

Our organization is not large, we have approximately 15 workers in my organization using it.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud technical support is not bad. The support is mostly very good.

The Fortinet FortiGate Cloud installation was not a problem but we have some local laws which make some restrictions for deployment cloud solutions. A lot of our customers use the premise version, not the cloud. The full deployment is not in one day, because we need to agree on a lot of details with our customers and it takes time. A typical time of the deployment can take approximately two to four weeks.

Unfortunately, we bought this solution for our main customer, and we had some problems deploying it correctly because its features didn't want to work. We have a lot of experience to install FortiGate and Fortinet solutions. However, we have faced some problems with  Fortinet mainly. 

We have a few workers that do the maintenance for the solution.

Fortinet has only an annual payment method. There is no monthly payment option.

They have only one standard license without any additional features.

We plan on using this solution in the future if our customers require it. If not then we will move to other solutions that will fit our client's needs.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is very useful to save logs. If you do not have hardware equipment, you may use this solution. If you don't want to implement and deploy hardware, this is a good choice.

I rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud an eight out of ten.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud has improved our organization's branches by providing overall better connectivity and security for all our networks.

I have found the SD-WAN, flexibility, and security the most valuable features.

Fortinet could improve FortiGate Cloud by providing better integration with third-party applications and features.

I have been using this solution within the past 12 months.

The stability is good.

We have approximately 10 people using the FortiGate cloud.

The technical support is very good in my experience.

The initial setup was easy. 

We have a team of four people that does the implementation and maintenance of the solution.

When comparing this solution to others it is less expensive and there is an annual license required.

There are different options available and it is important to choose a package that fits your use case. Overall this is a great solution.

I rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud a ten out of ten.

We are resellers who provide this solution to customers who require a firewall.

Also, it covers all of security use cases that you might have as a firewall.

The most valuable feature of this solution is the stability, it's actually tailored for that. 

It has many useful tools, such as managing wireless connections. If you have access points from the same vendor then you can manage them through FortiGate using the sandbox.

It's easy to use, it's straightforward, easy to configure, and to configure to your needs.

Reporting is an area that can be enhanced. It is not always beneficial, and you have to buy an additional license to get the type of reports that you're looking for.

There are often releases of the new firmware, which requires upgrades often. This is an inconvenience for customers as they have to have a maintenance window and turn off the internet until the upgrade is complete.

In the future, they could integrate with a third-party reporting tool such as Crystal Reports or Power BI, which might be beneficial, as it currently requires an additional license.

I have been working with FortiGate Cloud since 2015.

This solution is stable.

For the cloud, it is scalable because its nature. When it comes to the on-premises version, you are limited by your hardware.

With the Cloud, you can enhance or increase your cloud instance as your environment grows.

Technical support is wonderful. They are one of the good companies that provide really good technical support.

The initial setup is easy. Provided that you have your requirements clear, it is not complex. If you do not have clear requirements then it's like any other technology and it will be complex.

If you have your requirements ready and you what you want to achieve then it's straightforward.

The pricing is mid-ranged, it's not very expensive but it's not the cheapest or most affordable in the market.

When you have FortiGate, you subscribe to the FortiCloud in order to have certain intelligence.

This solution is good but there are many areas that need improvements.

I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

Our primary use case is for small or medium-sized organizations that simplify their operations through connections in the cloud.

The most valuable features are management and integration.

I would like to see more reporting from the analysis improved in the future.

I have been working with Fortinet FortiGate Cloud for the past six years.

We have not identified any stability issues up to this point.

I think it is scalable for the small and medium companies that we work with.

In Portugal, we have direct support from Fortinet FortiGate Cloud because we are well served here in terms of support from their team in Portugal. It is very good and we have a close relationship with them.

We use Palo Alto and Prism Cloud as competitive solutions.

The initial setup is straightforward and fast if you have the Fortinet FortiGate Cloud infrastructure.

The price fits the needs of our clients and it is adjustable by Defender.

I would recommend Fortinet FortiGate Cloud. If you have an infrastructure based on other vendors, you should also evaluate other solutions. I would rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud a seven on a scale of one to ten.

I am a consultant and this is one of the solutions that I provide to my customers.

I am familiar with Sandboxing services and some of the other features. This solution is mainly used for securing events.

The sandboxing feature is very important.

I would like to see a SIEM bundled together with this because customers are looking into better reporting and more proactive security solutions.

In the next release, it would benefit this solution to have more advanced monitoring capabilities such as predictive analysis and reporting.

I have been using FortiCloud for five or six years.

We have not come across any problems with stability.

With respect to scalability, we have had no problems whatsoever.

We have been in contact with the Fortinet technical support a couple of times, although it has been for hardware-related issues and had nothing to do with our configuration. One of our customers had hardware that was failing quite often.

The technical support is pretty good and so far, we have no complaints.

This initial setup is pretty straightforward. I don't think that it is complex.

The entire firewall implementation will take a couple of days, maximum. This is with everything, all together.

Some of our customers purchase yearly licenses, while others purchase subscriptions that are three years in length. The price is over $1,000 USD annually.

FortiCloud helps to enhance the security posture of any organization, and I definitely recommend looking into it.

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

We are using the solution to be able to manage everything from the cloud.

The ability to manage everything from the cloud is going to be the most valuable by far with this solution.

Currently with the solution, if you want to manage more than one FortiGate you have to use a VM, and a VM can control up to 10. You need to have a license for each one and it is confusing. Other solutions like Meraki is much more seamless. Easier usability and improving their WebDewey would benefit also.

I have been using the solution for a couple of months.

The overall setup was complex.

It will take us six weeks to implement 20 sites.

I rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud a six out of ten.

We use this solution for the basic protection of the on-premises network.

It's quite easy to use, and it's easy to find the necessary information from the web.

They have the means to learn how to use Fortinet.

The initial set up could be simplified. 

When evaluating other solutions, I learned that Sophos for example is able to have the endpoint interact with the firewall. If something goes wrong or if the endpoint is not behaving as it should, it could isolate the endpoint. We need some integration or communication between the endpoint and the firewall.

I would also like to have a bundle available that would include things like EDR and endpoint.

I have been using FortiGate Cloud for approximately three years.

This solution is stable.

We have not explored the scalability. We purchased what fits our user size and have not had to expand it yet.

We have approximately 20 users.

We plan to continue to use the Fortinet FortiGate Cloud.

We are quite satisfied with technical support.

Initially the set up is not that easy. At first, you are familiar with the product and then it has some difficulty in setting it up.

It requires a lot of research before you can finally make it work.

We implemented this solution ourselves. We did not use a vendor team.

There are costs in addition to the standard licensing fee. The license does not include many of the features that are necessary, which means that you have to pay extra for them.

I evaluated other products. We chose Fortinet because it was the preferred option.

If you are new to Fortinet, do some research on how to configure it, either through documentation or watching videos.

Recently, I have learned that they have training available and offer certification material and testing on the web.

I would rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud a seven out of ten.

I have found centralized administration, cloud UI, and visibility and security on all networks valuable features.

The solution has been stable.

We have approximately 10 clients using this solution.

The customer support is very good.

The price of the solution is high compare to competitors.
