Adding some SSL licensing and upgrading the RAM was fast and easy. I don't see why it wouldn't scale. I haven't scaled it, but I don't think it would be difficult.

It is possible that we will increase the use of Radware in our company. It depends on what our clients require. Right now, we are implementing new channels so there is a high possibility that we will increase our use of the solution.

It is scalable. I would rate it a nine out of ten in terms of scalability.
View full review »The scalability is about licensing. You require more bandwidth and more throughput. To scale, it’s about acquiring more licensing. That’s about it.
For example, if you have a license of 30GBs of traffic and may need to support up to maybe 80GBs. You need to increase the license. You can kind of use it on demand, however. If you can change the license every three years, and you can see that your throughput is going to increase a lot, you can scale up.
We have about ten people on the solution currently. We do have plans to potentially increase usage in the future.
View full review »In our company, it is implemented in multiple services, multiple applications, and multiple physical sites. Alteon functions in high-availability mode, in separate data centers.
We always have plans to expand our use of it for new applications and services.

It's scalable. We can purchase more licenses to accommodate more throughput.
We have it deployed across multiple locations and we have about 20,000 end-users.
View full review »There are add-on facilities for integrating with third-party SSL for security purposes. These facilities make this product scalable. Link load balancing, service load balancing, and the ADC part have scalability. If we do not have the physical nodes, we can get the virtual nodes, so this product is highly scalable.

View full review »We are analyzing a possible integration of Alteon with another Radware product. Integrating another Radware product and being able to automate things is in line with the vision we have for the future, and we see that it can be done with Radware technology.

The product is scalable. The functionality worked well. One issue was insufficient bandwidth to handle all the traffic, which likely impacted our timing.

It is scalable. We use it to protect our mail application, so Alteon is used by approximately 1,000 users.
View full review »Our organization usually buys load balances and hand-held devices oversized. We have not had any problem with scalability, and none of the devices fall short of our expectations. In addition, the devices are usually more powerful than the license they sell you. If there are problems with scalability, we can upgrade our license to a superior one.
We work with public institutions and have tens of thousands of potential users because we use Radware Alteon in public administration and digital offices. In Spain, the public administration sector is our biggest client.
View full review »The solution is scalable. However, because we are tending towards the cloud version of these products, if we increase the usage, it would be cloud WAF versions of AppWall.

The solution can scale well. You can integrate with other solutions or configure it to assist in the process. If have more than one application, you can get a contract to upload more.
In my area, there are five people who work directly with the product.
I do not have any information about expanding this solution in the future. I can't say that's on the horizon for us.

I have not had a chance to work on a scenario where we really carried a lot.
I am working on a project now where there are more applications going through Radware. Just now we are going to see how it works, regarding the scalability. It appears to be scalable but I can't tell you at this time.
Radware Alteon is used by the administrator, the network integrator, the people that are managing, and the internal management team and they seems comfortable with the learning curve an the handling of the solution.
