Radware Alteon Review

Easy to expand and has good support

What is our primary use case?

We use it for inbound traffic. We have web access portals.

What needs improvement?

Load balancing needs improvement. It needs better integration. I heard f5 works as a DNS operator which is not available in this solution. It would be better if that was implemented.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Alteon for around a year and a half.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Stability and scalability are good.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is easy to expand. Our clients are enterprise-size.

How are customer service and technical support?

Technical support is good. We are satisfied.

How was the initial setup?

It is easy to install. We didn't have any problems. Customers don't know about load balancing products.

If it is LLV or SSLV it can take three to four days. If it's in a single device, it takes around two days.

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend it.

In the next release, I would like the load balancing to be improved.

I would rate it a nine out of ten. It's a good product.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

On-premises

Which version of this solution are you currently using?

6003
