The stability is good. I haven't noted any issues in this regard. It's reliable. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze.

I would recommend the solution to others. It's better than Acronis and Veritas. I find it very easy to use and manage. It's centralized and simple.

I'd rate the solution ten out of ten.

We are a distributor, not a reseller.

I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. It's a great product. The only drawback is the support for the ASM disks and the support for legacy Windows operating systems.

I'd recommend the solution to other companies. It's a straightforward solution. I am mostly a Linux guy, therefore, we're not as focused on Windows. In general, it's worked like a charm. It's helped me do backups and restores and it has never failed me in that perspective, except for the ASM disk issues.

I'd recommend the solution to others.

I'd advise new users to check the updates with the infrastructure to make sure everything will be compatible with Veeam. You need to ensure that you do not need agents. You might need agents for infrastructure that is not virtualized.

I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.

On a scale from one to ten (where one is the worst and ten is the best), I would rate Veeam on Microsoft Windows as a nine-out-of-ten.

What I would expect in order to make this product a ten-of-ten is that they will add some details in reporting about the backup jobs. They need to just fill this little hole in the software by adding details in the reports that are not currently included and it is really giving me everything I need as a user.

I would recommend Veeam to others who are looking into implementing it.

We're using the latest version of the solution.

I would advise people to use the solution  in certain use cases. For example, if a customer has a machine that doesn't really have internet, or they don't want a cloud-based solution, and the customer is very small and has one or two machines, then yes, by all means, use it.

I'd rate the solution six out of ten. It's tricky to manage, and you literally have to go to each machine to go and figure out what's wrong with it. There is no real information that you can pull up online when there's a problem.

There are many advantages to using this product. That said, there is still a problem with AIX integration. The native AIX backup client is a really poorly designed system and is unusable.

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

The monitoring of the management tools that you find embedded within the package that you buy, is quite enough. It's enough to manage a typical installation.

If you need anything else then you will add onto the package that you buy. Moving from a standard to an enterprise version, you will add more features.

We are partners and resellers of Veeam Software.

I would rate this solution a ten out of ten. I would recommend it, it is practically perfect.

I'm just a Veeam customer and end-user. I don't have a business relationship with the company.

I've got a Veeam agent for Linux and I've got a Veeam agent for Microsoft Windows. I've also got Veeam Cloud Connect and backup for Office 365.

I'm using Veeam Backup Essentials for Enterprise. The two-socket edition is currently what I'm running on this site.

I tend to do an on-prem backup and then I replicate to the cloud.

I would advise other organizations to talk to your local rep to get full details on what the product can do for you. That way you can use it to its fullest capability.

I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. It's functioned well, saved my butt for firewall retrieval and pulling some data that was corrupted and customer service has been great.

My advice for anybody who is considering Veeam is to do a proof of concept first, to make sure that it works in your environment.

Overall, we are pretty happy with this product. Compared to what else is out there, it works well and it seems to have a lot of options.

I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

On a scale from one to ten, where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would you rate Veeam an eight. To me, this means that I would recommend it to all of our clients and we are in the process of taking most of our clients onto Veeam. It is a really, really good product, but it is not perfect. But we are recommending now to many of our clients that they move to Veeam when it is an appropriate time to change their licenses.

So far, Veeam is handling all the virtual machines for one client and another client is picking up twenty licenses. We have convinced them that it is a good product.

On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows as either a zero or a ten. The product is either working or it is not working. When it is not working, it is not doing its job and it is a zero. All the other times when it is working, it is a ten.

It is black or white. It is very simple to rate. It is a ten virtually all of the time because it is working.

We've been dealing with Veeam Cloud Connect. We're also dealing with Veeam One and all the other products there, and it depends on what the customer needs. We've been selling all of those solutions, including the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows.

We have under 1,000 users of the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows.

I absolutely can recommend the product to other people.

I give the solution seven out of ten.

The solution is resource-friendly and it doesn't consume much CPU and memory. You have the ability to continue working because it runs the backup in the background and does not slow down your system, especially with an SSD or NVMe drive.

I recommend this solution to anyone who doesn't require enterprise-grade features.

Due to the unpredictable nature of how long a backup will take on the system, I can't really commit to Veeam. For an SMB, I might suggest Backup Exec as an alternative to Veeam. For an enterprise-level company, I would recommend NetBackup. I'd still recommend Veeam, but it would be based on specific customer requirements.

I would rate the solution nine out of ten.
