Our initial implementation was handled by our partner, IT House. However, they partnered with distributor Team AG due to their team's certified technicians. Crucially, having certified technicians alone isn't enough; the individuals involved in the setup also need a deep understanding of the system and, ideally, extensive experience. Unfortunately, after a year or two of operation, we encountered challenges that could be attributed to initial implementation shortcomings. This experience underscores the importance of involving highly qualified technicians from the outset.

We used the Dell Technologies services to help us with the deployment and that went very well.

In some cases, we used a reseller. We have negotiated an agreement with Dell where we now buy directly from them.

We handle the implementation for our clients.

We used Dell ProDeploy and had a combination of engineering and facilities staff for the deployment process.

A vendor did the whole implementation. We have purchased it as a service. So, we had a third-party vendor who installed and configured everything. My technicians were watching and learning. So, we were not the ones who were primarily responsible for configuring things. The process took some time, but the result is very satisfying.

We wanted to roll out the VDI department by department. We used an integrator for the initial deployment, who was very competent. We also used one system engineer.

An integrator assisted us with the initial implementation process. They were very professional and the experience overall was positive. 

Dell did the implementation of the solution for us.

Dell assisted us with the first two clusters, and we mostly did the second two clusters ourselves. 

We actually had that alteration done through our Dell partner. We chose a partner based on input from Dell about our limitations, what sort of skill set they had, how many engineers were verified, etc., and then we chose our partners. 90% of the population was done by the partner and 10% wherever delegation was needed, they would assist as necessary.

Our partner also provides us with implementation and deployment support. We're not capable of troubleshooting it ourselves. We need technical support to handle it, and sometimes, it takes a long time to get the support.

Deployment takes a long time, but three people are enough. One admin, one manager.

We had the invaluable assistance of a skilled technician from Dell throughout the intricate process of VxRail installation and configuration.

We partnered with Dell Technologies and they helped us implement the solution. We provided the required data for networking and firewall rules for them to roll out the solution. Four senior engineers were involved in the deployment.

We had someone from Dell who helped us with the installation and configuration.

I was able to perform this myself with the assistance of a consultant.

We provided the deployment service and depending on if all the prerequisites are met, we can have it all completed in one day.

The solution's deployment took 30 to 45 minutes per box.

We used a partner for the deployment. My experience with them was good. They fully supported us during the pandemic situation to get this up and running.

We used a reseller for the implementation. It took about two months to deploy the solution.

VxRail is deployed in one location, and we have about 22 people who use the solution.

We used Dell EMC team together with local vendor team to implement the solution and we have two engineers to do the maintenance. Their knowledge and skills are outstanding.

If you partner with Dell, they offer Dell ProDeploy support and SmartHands. We hire them to do the shipping and implementation into a client's data center, whether that's on-prem or in a third-party incumbent location, such as our data center. They have a lot of expertise behind that. from my perspective, it always runs fairly smoothly.

Generally, we procure VxRail through Dell and then we sell it back to the client within our margin. With VxRail, comes Dell's ProDeploy and SmartHands capability to ship and then install.

It is implemented from the supplier side, not with our people. There were 35 VxRail guests involved in the implementation.

We implement the systems ourselves.

We did the setup through the service provider because we didn't have the experience. It was something new for us, so we went through them to get help. They showed us how to migrate from the old service to the new one and we continued to do the process. The implementation took two days for the setup.

The implementation used a combination of in-house staff being onsite and Dell EMC personnel being on a WebEx. This was mostly due to being one of the early deployments of the system. I am not sure of the current requirements around new deployments.

We do the implementation, maintenance, and support of VxRail with one technician.

We use a system integrator for the implementation.

The deployment is based on two scenarios, the budget and the software that would be running over the virtual machines in VMware and on this solution. 

There are multiple series within this solution, we have to select the right sizing for the customer needs. If the company needs to implement SAP, Oracle, or regular infrastructure, based on this information we provide the solution business series. There are many things to consider, what is the nodes needed for the configuration, this could be three, four, five, etc. Which license is required with VMware, either standard or enterprise. Staying within the budget is important, this solution can be expensive and is based partially on the workloads that they will work on.

We had an integrator from Dell to help us set up everything. I can't remember exactly, but I believe deployment took only one or two days.

We have ten people on our in-house technical team including networking, security, and data center engineers who do storage and servers.

We manage the storage, compute, and virtual machines as well as networking through the perfect channel. 

We do all kinds of deployments. We check whether the customer wants to deploy it on-premises, cloud, or integrate with the public cloud to tier and replicate.

We worked with Dell EMC directly. Our experience with them was great.

We're getting our reseller to also implement the solution for us. Dell EMC offers installations and we've opted to let them handle it.

We had a technician from Dell actually do the initial setup. It helped make the entire process very seamless.

We used a reseller for the initial deployment. The deployment was good. It took around a month to get everything up and running. Then we had to copy the data from the old storage to the new one. That didn't take too long.

We used an integrator team for the implementation of the solution. The one person who takes care of the maintenance of VxRail, such as upgrading the software. The upgrading takes too long. We have many nodes which takes a long time, they need to improve the speed of the upgrades

We ended up using a certified partner that helped us with the installation. While we used an integrator the first time, we can do it by ourselves now. 

We used the Dell team to help with our deployment.

I lead the largest integrator group that we're partnering with.

We support solution providers as we are part of the distribution track. 

We are consultants to solution providers and set up talks with the end user customers to get the product into the field. 

We deploy this solution for our clients.

Four people are required for the initial setup. Two people from our company and two representatives of the client. You need a lot of people that understand the network. We also had another person present for virtualization, VMware. The networking issues are critical. You just need to strictly follow the manual. If you do that, you'll avoid a lot of problems.

We do not deploy this solution for our customers. We step in once it's been deployed. We handle end-to-end operations like security, computing, and networking — the whole portfolio.

I've personally helped my clients with the initial setup. While I don't have all of the technical skills, I have a team that's very well versed in the product.

The deployment was done by Dell EMC. We have six technicians working on maintenance for the solution.

We used Dell EMC to install it. We are very happy with it.

We did have issues with the migration.
