I previously used OpenVPN before Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. OpenVPN was an older solution.

I have used OpenVPN alongside AnyConnect for the past two years.
I have not used other solution because the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client works very well.
View full review »A solution was used before going with the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client, but I forgot the name of the previous solution. I'm not exactly sure of the reason behind choosing Cisco, but it could be because the older solution was a little bit complicated in terms of its licensing policy.
I have not used other solutions previously.

Previously we had a standard Cisco VPN client, but it was not as functional as it did not have the ability to tie into the Active Directory.
View full review »I've used other VPNs like RSA and Juniper and all that before, and those are a little cumbersome. They were quite glitchy and heavy work was not possible.

For a standard end-user, CheckPoint VPN is more complicated. It could be because it has more functions.

I have used a mobile prospect from previous generation Cisco VPN clients. AnyConnect ended up replacing the Cisco VPN Clients, so we didn't switch per se. We've always had Cisco products.

Our internal team uses Slack for communication.
This GlobalProtect is used on Palo Alto Networks. It assists us in connecting to a gateway. We have access to our applications and not through Okta. We access Okta and use it.
