Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"A good automated scripts feature.""This product saves us a lot of time and increases our efficiency.""The most value we get from this solution is that everything is on a patch cycle.""Scripting and patch management are really important for us. Patch Manager is something that we use a lot, and we would love to have it continually improved. It is one of the most useful features for us for controlling patches and other things for different clients.""The database is great. It's a nicely ordered database.""It's definitely improved the help-desk servicing, et cetera.""It allows us to manage all client requests, jobs and invoicing.""The implementation is nice and easy."

"NetMon's best feature is traffic analysis.""The analytics feature is the most valuable feature.""The protocols with which you see the traffic for a particular website that a client has in their environment, for example, are valuable. We can monitor whether the traffic is up to the mark or whether they need to add more bandwidth. Also, we can see if we're able to get real-time environment data as well. The customization dashboard is really good. LogRhythm NetMon has its own in-built dashboards which are helpful in guiding customization.""Visibility is a valuable feature, the ability to see even if the traffic is not going into the firewall""The most valuable feature is the log, which can be analyzed by our SIEM solution.""It has a very strong artificial intelligence engine.""It is a stable solution...It is a scalable solution."

Cons
"The project management needs improvement and there's a section of the product called configuration that also needs to be improved.""The fixed client for Automate is slow. The web client is not very intuitive.""There could be better linkages between ConnectWise Automate and Manage from a ticketing perspective. Automate and Manage each has its own ticketing system. We use the one in Manage, but it'd be nice if they were linked directly to the one in Automate.""The wait time for a support ticket to be addressed needs to be reduced. They take a couple of days to get back. It is a little frustrating when we have to wait for a couple of days. A lot of times, the issue is critical for us. If we're reaching out to their support team and submitting a ticket, it is because we need it handled quickly.""I have a problem with the reports available on the solution. I don't understand how to work with the reporting functionality. For example, when I want to give a report for a specific machine, ConnectWise doesn't seem to have this as an option. I'm not sure if I'm missing something, or if the reporting functionality is just poorly conceived.""Technical support was helpful.""The menu doesn't always load properly.""Their support needs to be better."

"LogRhythm NetMon's pricing model is an area of concern that should be made a little bit cheaper in comparison to the other players in the market currently.""Sometimes it's hard to find the network devices' self-audit logs.""Some of the automated tasks we can perform on QRadar cannot be performed on LogRhythm because the solution has limitations.""I would like to see better integration with multiple products. Integration is not something that is readily available for most of the products.""Could use a topology diagram which would help get an exact visual.""There is an issue with tunneling in relation to how the connectivity is established between the end devices and where NetMon is installed. On the console, I often observe that there's a difference of a few seconds or maybe a minute, and this lag time should not be there.""The training for this product is not very good and needs to be improved."
